First off, he is making the statement that Final punishment is actually biblical. 
And secondly, the only reasoning is that for a punishment to matter, it has to last forever.  REALLY?

I feel sorry for his Kids, if he has any, but likely he will be shown to be a hypocrite, thank God for hypocrisy if he doesn't continue punishing his Kids eternally,  or at least till they get big enough to kick his behind..
