Yet, the part that I was reported for weren't my words at all. It was actually a quote from a user on this forum, Tentmaker.org, WhiteWings. Which I specifically said was a quote. To clarify, WhiteWings is my friend, and I support the point they mentioned, which is why I quoted it.  :thumbsup: But this is definitive proof that they have no arguments for Christian Universalism so instead of debating us, they silence us!  :footmouth:

That's the end of the post. This reminds me of the time I was banned from another Christian Forum for posting about Christian Universalism even though they have a subforum that allows it. So many of these rules are completely backwards, so it makes me grateful to the moderators of this site that all of you are super nice and friendly!  :friendstu:

Look, moderators have a hard job. I respect them. They have to sort through all sorts of user content and what not. I feel for them. Based on that description, I saw the usertitle as a section of my profile page and put it on there. I personally think the rule description should be more descriptive, as to mention the specific sections in which the external links may not be posted.



Counseling PMs (CPM) do not carry points that lead to a ban. Warnings do. IF you change your username to the website, it will be changed back IF you put it in the usertitle, it will be removed and you will get a warning. Do you really want that?



Both of these Counseling PMS (CPM) are marked on my profile under the section of "Warning", so I assumed that it was indeed a warning based on the text.



Yes, the username change to my website was done yesterday, as it's also a section of my "profile page". The rule description says that "If desired, place these other links on your profile page"



You agreed to the site rules when you joined. The CPM I sent was to give you a head's up about the site rules. There is no need to escalate things.



I see, so the CPM was more so a head's up. I thought it was a warning already marked on my account, since it doesn't have an expiry date, meanwhile another warning I got has one of around August 2023. So I thought it was a permanent warning on my account based on that.

As such, it has been removed and replaced with Jesus-Saves-All. I believe this is allowed under the rules, since it does not bear any starting text of "www" or "http" or "https" and has no ending of ".com" ".org" ".info" etc. Please let me know if this is allowed, I will be happy to make changes in order to comply with the rules my friend.



One issue is that your thread was out of place in Controversial Christian Theology.

I see, thanks for the information. I can understand why the forum has a "Controversial Christian Theology" section, as controversies can oftentimes overwhelm conversations and have everything focus on them rather than the topic at hand. At the same time, personally I find it tricky when I want to talk about general life related stuff with a Christain Universalist idea. It can be hard to know where exactly the line in the sand is, so to speak.





The other issue is that it violated the rule that was spelled out for you.

This is the thing with having human moderators. They are not able to act upon everything they see, and sometimes they will act upon one rule and leave another thing untouched. In this case, the previous Bitcoin thread from 2018 has been removed just recently a couple days today. Which came as a result of my most recent post getting removed.

I think a similar comparison is the website link. I imagine not a lot of people take the time to read the rules of particular forums thoroughly, or if they do, it becomes difficult to remember them. Anyways, I try not to spend too long on cases like these, because my focus is on spreading the Gospel truth, that Jesus Christ will save everyone and to be saved you must believe in Christ Jesus with faith alone.

Since it's a normal ban, you will probably be allowed to return in the set time. How many strikes against you?

Hi, thanks for the reply tampasteve my friend :) I can understand, from your perspective, how my account can be seen as primarily promoting outside content. My join date is Sep 11, 2022, and I published my website on Dec 22, 2022. While my original intention was to simply post on the forums, I believe I got carried away in the ?excitement? so to speak, of having my own website, resulting in me mentioning it far too often on these forums and I apologize for that.

Sorry if maybe I?m reading too much into this, but I?m very strict when it comes to making promises, as I intend to keep all of them. But?

Isn?t everything I say ?my content? in a sense? Like these very words I say. To promote can be defined as ?to raise importance? or ?to contribute? which I do with all my words. How then can I promise to not promote my content if everything that I post would indeed be my content? Then, if I never post, wouldn?t that essentially be equivalent of being banned? Further, if I reply agreeing to the promise, then wouldn?t that reply instantly break the promise, because that reply is ?my content?.

Again, sorry if I?m like hyper-examining everything so much. But I would appreciate clarification on what exactly this content entails. I?m also worried that I may promote my website unknowingly and break that promise too. Specifically, what would count as promoting my website? Would it simply be including the www link? I can do that. Would it mean not posting any content from my website on here? That would be tricky, because I have Bible verses on my website, and if I post them on here, that may count as ?promoting my website?.

I can agree to stop spamming my website link in a way that breaks these site's rules, which what I mean is, for all my posts I post on this site I will make a conscious effort to not include that hyperlink such as http, www, https in a way where clicking on the text, or copy pasting the specific site address would lead to that site.

Here?s the tricky thing, so last post I said ? I agree then that I will stop promoting my website and posting the link to it in this fashion that is bothering people.? which is very particular wording, since with the rules of Christian Forums, they can change it at any time, so I specifically mentioned that I will stop posting the link ?in this fashion? which means, posting the www.jesus-saves-all.com hyperlink excessively, as tampasteve first mentioned. However, they then changed this to ?promise to not promote your content and I can un-ban you? which originally was ?If you can agree to stop promoting your website I can agree to un-ban you.? So now they added the ?promise? and for me I take promises very seriously.

Broadly speaking, "content" is OK, it is the effort to drive people to an off-site location. So cross posting your content is not likely an issue, it is primarily posting links to the website and promoting that.

Your email is fine, other members don't see it. Your signature line is also OK as it is now.

Since I copy and paste articles from other sites onto this forum site, I plan to limit my posting to exclusively the Daily Christian Universalist thread. I will try to avoid quoting people since that could be seen as goading. It?s tricky, because I do want people to understand that I am indeed replying to them, but if it risks me getting banned from the site and my content removed, then it?s not worth the risk. As well, with me warning people about Bitcoin scams, it?s clear that the website is specifically focusd more on the theology, so other variety articles will be difficult. Much more preferable to limit my posting to the Daily Christian Universalist thread rather than having all of my content removed because I decide to post everywhere.

Surprise that I was banned so quickly, maybe because it was the variety for the website. Since St Steven, I noticed that he posted a lot more posts and content, and he only got banned until later. He was even on the site for much longer than I was, I haven?t even been on the site for a year lol. Looking at the warning counter, I think it might have to do with the warning count, which counts as out of 4. So I don?t know how many warnings that I?ve gotten for it to constitute towards 4.

Of course, my wording with the response is very particular. I say ?I agree? because I agree with the moderators rule to not have any more hyperlinks on the website. I agree with that statement, as in the same as agreeing with the rules. This gives me lenience to anytime I accidentally were to post the link, I would still agree with the moderators rule to not have any more hyperlinks, because my intention is to follow that rule. Luckily, thanks to the moderator tampsteves short reply, it?s evident that they are potentially in a rush to wrap up the ticket already, since usually when people have shorter responses, it implies that they want the conversation to end. And as well, they are more susceptible to missing the subtle nuances of conversation in general. It?s not my intention to ?trick? it?s moreso my intention to give more room, where it?s not a life or death situation if I do mess up, thought I don?t plan on messing up. Just moreso as a protection towards myself and my character, I hope you all understand. I do this with kindness and love my friends.

So if anyone were to hack my account and post a link to my website, it would not be me breaking a promise, though there isn?t necessarily one anyways definition wise, more like an ?I agree, I would not be accountable for it because it would be out of my control. I create this protection for myself because I indeed have been hacked in the past before, my account has been hacked before, so I take those necessary precautions, please understand.

Of course, this is why I said ?so I figured I'd give it a shot here.? on Sept 11 2022. Hello. I would originally post a Christian Universalist verse daily on the Tentmaker Universalism site. However, a Cloudflare error has caused the site to go down, specificially

"Table './hopebey1_tentmaker_forum/smf_messages' is marked as crashed and should be repaired"

So yeah it?s usually these sort of errors that stops me from having these daily verses lol. Hope everyone understands. There issues are pretty out of my control XD

I was posting daily Christian Universalist Bible verses and my own commentary of them on there, but since it's down, I've decided to continue doing that on this forum. There's some members from that forum that are also active on here, like FineLinen, who posts great content on there,
