Yes good post Willie.

Regarding the article in the OP, he seems to rely on the concept of free will and the idea that some people will never turn to God.... "Imagine a man in hell—no, a ghost—endlessly chasing his own shadow, as the light of God shines endlessly behind him. If he would only turn and face the light, he would be saved. But he refuses to—forever."

This idea is refuted with the set of 3 scriptures that declare every knee will bow, and every tongue will confess and swear allegiance, to the glory of the Father.  (Isaiah 45:20-23, Romans 14:11, Phil 2:9-11).  This rips to shreds the idea that some person - a "ghost" - would never turn and be saved.

I like this part of what he says, at least the ghost has a choice between good and evil, to remain in the shadows or to embrace the light. I think this is what Peter tals about when he says that false prophet shall remain in darkness forever, that they will prefer to stay in hell (abyss hades), rather than go to the light and be exposed.

For nothing is hid which shall not be manifested, so the sins of the false prophets exposed before all if they come to the light, but the blood of Christ is there to cover them and forgive them but they will pay for the evil they have done in some shape or form, unless they repent in this lifetime.

Thinkthank, if EVERY KNEE bow to the Lamb, it means that false prophet too (even if I personnaly believe the false prophet is symbolism).
Because then it is not every knee but every knee minus two. Unless the false prophet has no legs. :laughing7:

Yeah, the part about when they removed the tongues from certain of all those arrayed before the throne of God must've been left on the cutting room floor.

He has no leg to stand on.
Just a literal translation from Dutch meaning the person has nothing to back up his/her claims. Just like the false prophet.
So I think he has no knees  :laughing7:
1 Timothy 2:3-4  ...God our Savior;  Who will have all men to be saved...
John 12:47  And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.
Romans 4:5 But to the one who does not work, but believes in the one who declares the ungodly righteous ...

people or ghosts are dragged out of hell in rev 20, so they must a been hiding there until God himself pulls them out to judge their works. :2c:

It would be best to step out of our natural reasoning on this bro.  Hell isn't a holding tank where unbelievers go when they die.  Revelation 20 isn't a picture of the ugly stuff happening on the "other side" of this realm.  It's what's happening "in" this realm within us and around us.

1 Corinthians 2
12We have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit who is from God, that we may understand what God has freely given us. 13 This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, expressing spiritual truths in spiritual words

Nor are we going to have to "pay for evil" in the afterlife because of things we've done in this life.  We are "rewarded" for "good" but not judged for our evil.  That's a man's perspective.  If there be evil present in our nature, there's no hell where one goes to "pay" for that . . . it's already been "paid" for on the cross.  However, should one not acknowledge Christ as Lord and pass with evil in them, rather than be judged in a negative sense of the word, I beleive BECAUSE OF THE CROSS, all are PURIFIED which once again lines up with every knee shall bow . .. .

Just my thoughts  . . .
