As far as near death experiences go, I was not near death when I was brought forth from the womb, in a truth, I became dead. I do not have many memories of that dying, but I have many memories of how I felt when Jesus caused me to be born again, and live.
I dont hang out in the grocery store publicans or the imaginations of men. I set my salvation in Jesus Christ the Saviour of the World.
I maybe out of line with most, but I have been given to rely on HIM, Jesus the Saviour. :thumbsup: :grin: :icon_king: :happy3:

That sometimes make sme wonder if HS forgot to add pun intended at every hades verse.

You know in the last few years I have remembered many dreams. But before that, only few. Some very realistic, some I would say were supernatural.

But I'd like to say that if we as human beings dream every night but yet do not remember any of the dreams, then I conclude that a person who dies and is resurrected from the dead cannot, remember exact details of their spirit's journey. These NDE experiences are people who are gifted with the ability to recall their journeys, but just as with a lot of dream recall, it may leave out or have difficulty in interpreting the dream.

With this in mind it could be possible for a person such as Elijah who died thousands of years ago, to appear to Jesus in spirit form.

Yet in an event of a bodily non perfected resurrection, he vaguely would remember nothing of his spirit travels and for Elijah it would be as if he woke up from a long coma.

But I also believe that the perfect resurrection Paul talked about will be given supernatural bodies, so we will if we can, accept, remember details of our past, of where our spirit's journey has taken us.

NDEs are also about faith.
Say you spend the next 5 days in heaven. You return with dozens of photo's, hours of film and lots of information. How many would believe you?

 :cloud9: The Spirit is ever aware or "conscious", and so is our spirit from Him. Those moments of "supernatural" dreams are when the One allows the other to REMEMBER the perception, which is then "filtered" thru the soul of man.

The soul is what allows us to "process" things, otherwise we would (as the Spirit does), just KNOW them WITHOUT taking thought, which is actually what is happening with some of the gifts of the Spirit, like word of knowledge.

Just as the woman is the helpmeet, so is the soul the helpmeet to the spirit, by being a witness. Two = the number of witness. The soul is like a recorder, "recording" everything that happens. This the same principle as it being a womb, reproducing whatever seed is planted in it. When a person dies, the Spirit brings ALL THINGS to their remembrance.

A spirit of forgetfullness has been our covering since we were birthed into this realm, so we could be proved as steel in tempered in the fire, learning by EXPERIENCE and choice, bringing our "rebellious woman" into submission and oneness with the Spirit, until we KNOW even as we are known of Him. Knowing in this realm is about personal perception (seeing thru a glass/darkened soul darkly), but in the Spirit it's about oneness (to KNOW one's wife) with Him. My  :2c:

I was the kid that pestered her parents with 100 "why" questions a day. My nature in that way didn't change when I came to the Father; if anything it only intensified. Those annoying things are a thing of beauty in the Master's hand. :winkgrin: :laughing7:
