Title: He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not ..

John 8:20-22 (King James Version)

These words spake Jesus in the treasury, as he taught in the temple: and no man laid hands on him; for his hour was not yet come.
Then said Jesus again unto them, I go my way, and ye shall seek me, and shall die in your sins: whither I go, ye cannot come.
Then said the Jews, Will he kill himself? because he saith, Whither I go, ye cannot come.
And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world.
I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.

Jesus bluntly told the pharisaical Jews that were seeking to destroy him, that they could not go where he was going to go.  Period.

John 3:18

He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Did we hear Jesus?  The persons who believe in Christ are what?

"not condemed.."

Those who don't believe are what???

"condemned already,.."

Condemned to what?

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm.......

Revelation 21:8

But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Some will retort that we are all guilty of lying, cheating, stealing (hopefully we are not all murderers and abominable to all humane), and I will be the first to agree with you.

It is not one's own 'righteousness' or actions of humanity that warrant one's entry into the Kingdom of God (true salvation), it is one's belief in Christ that is the 'golden ticket', and when one has this 'golden ticket' they will progressively begin to treat others with love (these are fruits of the spirit or Christ in you).

Romans 3:22
Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:

Romans 8:10
And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.

Romans 10:4
For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.

Again,...

Philippians 3:9
And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:

And is this not a most miraculous gift, the wonderful in-grafting of faith, inset and mixing itself with one to make him a living 'soul' in the eyes of the most wonderful councilor?   It is truly an amazing thing indeed to need only a little 'faith' in Christ and efforts of love towards humanity to have eternal life given to you and your house.  I consider this whole life nothing compared to life eternal in the Kingdom of God with Christ as King.

Matthew 7:14
Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Mark 16:16
He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

Luke 8:12
Those by the way side are they that hear; then cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved.

Luke 13

23 Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them,

24  Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.

25 When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are:

26  Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets.

27 But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity.

28 There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out.

29 And they shall come from the east, and from the west, and from the north, and from the south, and shall sit down in the kingdom of God.

Again, what did Jesus Christ (God in the flesh) say when someone asked him if few men would be saved or enter the Kingdom of God? (Sorta like asking the reverse of UR)...

for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.

Don't let the world fool you.  Belief in CHrist is worth more then all the gold in the world, for what does one gain if he has the material world, but loses his soul?????

Mark 8:36
For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?
