According to the grace of God given to me, like a wise master builder I laid a foundation, and another is building upon it. But each one must be careful how he builds upon it,
11
for no one can lay a foundation other than the one that is there, namely, Jesus Christ.
12
If anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, or straw,
13
the work of each will come to light, for the Day will disclose it. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire (itself) will test the quality of each one's work.
14
If the work stands that someone built upon the foundation, that person will receive a wage.
15
But if someone's work is burned up, that one will suffer loss; the person will be saved, 8 but only as through fire.

Universalists holds this verse to mean Christ will save all once they have undergo some sort of correction (works burned, age corrected punishment, lake of fire)

But this man here has a different interpretation:

How would you answer his objection?

I will only say this....and I bleive we all will do well to remember it

that in Adam we are all wiped out burned up....and have nothing but the wages of sin/death..due to us.......then the building begins with the cheif

cornerstone...laid in Christ's sacrifice[for this reason He descended into death/Jordon river/John's baptism]  this  white stone comes up out of death

and is the foundation of all other things/blessing after blessing/stone after stone added/cubit after cubit added to each man's 'short' of the Glory

  stature.

The free gift/grace of righteousness is adequate,  praise of God for the free gift/faith exercized in the free gift/joy exclaimed at the free gift/love expressed

at the free gift/union with Christ and God and all mankind through the free gift/knowledge of God and Christ through the free gift....is  just this...

gold,siver/jewels/pearls.9ISAAIH 49;18  your sons hasten back, and those who laid you waste depart from you.Lift up your eyes and look around,ALL YOUR SONS GATHER

AND COME TO YOU.as surely as i live, declares the lord<you will wear them all as ornaments, you will put them on like a bride  THIS IS THE CITY THAT GOD BUILT......WHAT

ARE YOU BUILDING?   REV 21;2

there are no divisions in Christ...other than this...all in Adam suffer loss and are saved by fire...the fiery jealousy of HIS LOVE  shown as the Kingdom of the

Son of His love...for LOVE IS AS STRONG AS DEATH.....IT'S JEALOUSY AS UNYEILDING AS THE GRAVE...IT BURNS LIKE BLAZING FIRE,MANY WATERS

CAN NOT QUENCH LOVE,RIVERS[Jordan/descend/death] CAN NOT WASH IT AWAY

l  LOOK! WHAT GOD HAS DONE! FOR ALL WHO WERE LAID DESOLATE IN ADAM! PUT ON HIS GLORY/CLOTHED IN THE SALVATION OF ALL MEN BY YOUR HUSBAND

UNLESS THE LORD BUILD THE HOUSE,THE WORKERS WORK IN VAIN

I didn't watch the video. Maybe later. My head is aching.

Anyway, I presume the guy is arguing the verses aren't universalistic at all, but they're about believers only. And I agree with him. The thing is, in my opinion a lot of folks are making this mistake of thinking that whenever the Bible speaks of judgment, it's always about the final judgement. However, I think there are several judgments. Adlai Loudy thinks there are as many as five. Please take a look at this: http://www.gtft.org/Library/loudy/Adjudication.htm

Disclaimer: I don't agree with Loudy's view of pre-tribulation rapture.

The Plan of The Ages: God's Unfailing Love Revealed in the Cross

all mankind dead in Adam[disbeleived the word of God /failed to obey/sin entered] free gift of righteousness to all JUDGED DEAD IN ADAM..GIVEN ETERNAL LIFE

THROUGH ONE OBEDIANT BELEIVER[JESUS CHRIST.]   THIS IS THE JUDGEMENT OF GOD...now man has made many judgements and imaginations as to

what God is doing..and questioned other's coarse John 21;21 LORD,WHAT ABOUT HIM?..Jesus said,'IF I WANT HIM TO REMAIN ALIVE UNTIL I RETURN

WHAT IS THAT TO YOU?" and what about this Rev 22;11 let him who does wrong[dead in Adam, sin in flesh] continue to do wrong/let him who is vile continue to be vile

let him who does right continue to do right, and let him who is holy continue to be holy[excersize faith in Christ/follow holy spirit]

.AND THE FIRE WILL  PROVE THEM

The oldest known manuscripts agree with each other 99% of the time.  The scriptures, accurately translated, Spirit revealed - reliable.   Looking unto Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith.  Heb. 12:2

There will be many on that day who will say Lord Lord did we not prophesy in your name and in you name cast out demons? ....The fact is that every disciple is supposed to be a builder. The idea that this was written just to ministers is part of the Nicolaitian (nico- dominate  laity people) deception. Paul says everyone will stand before the judgment seat of Christ.

Rom 14:10  But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.

I think the gentleman is speaking by wrote a religion he has learned and is not really in the Living Word. He is supporting a doctrinal system he adheres to.

Jesus also said, Everyone will be salted with fire and every sacrifice seasoned with salt.   He said it.... EVERYONE. Of course, as our Lord warned, every branch that does not abide in Him will be withered and cut off and cast into the fire. This was to believers who are not walking in love, IMO. The fire is for separation. What comes through the fire is no longer an adversary.

If you see your brother hungry and naked and say, "be warmed and filled and go your way, but do not give him food your faith is in vain(empty, for nothing, no good).

In answer to the question, "Who is my brother", Jesus told the parable of the Samaritan who helped the wounded man. The Samaritan was the brother, not the Pharisee or the Levite.

Jesus eyes are as flames of fire, they try the reins and the hearts. Good thing mercy triumphs over judgment :o)
