As was posted in another thread, I just think it's a horrible tactic in fear mongering and if you are like myself that gets anxiety attacks when browsing such sites, I would personally suggest that you steer clear from sites such as these

If it's any consolation there have been many far more pleasant NDE's than the ones described on that site, it's just that these ones get far more publicity, here's another one although not pleasant is not quite as bad as the monstrosities portrayed on that site as well as many others that are speading across the net like some sort of black plague

:cloud9: Thanks for this link of Angie Finimore, Shadow...........this is EXACTLY what the Lord showed me when He took me with Him into the 'purgatory' (that has been called hell) of another to set them free.

Our souls are bound by whatever we do not overcome while still in the body, thru the Spirit of Christ Jesus. We are reproved with our OWN WICKEDNESS. It was never intended to be a permanent dwelling place, but a 'processing' to bring forth the measure of faith EVERY MAN was given to receive Him, whether in this life or the next. Blessings....

.

I think we be "members in particular" ........I'll never understand all
of it, but I know what I've seen and it "has" affected my beliefs.
I saw the Spirit once long ago in a dream and it "quickened" a
man out of the flames.  At that time, all I had ever heard was burn
forever, .........

Every new believer needs to make his or her mind up quickly that
they are not going to listen or follow any man, God is God, and
God can show anyone who seeks HIM what He wishes.

He never intended for a man to rule over any of His people, and
He only wants us to listen to one when it is the Spirit speaking
out of them........you'll know. You just will.  People are just
afraid they won't hear GOD, and that is even because of teachings
that keep man bound under another man. Then it takes forty
forevers to get free. I guess its all part of that horror shown to
Abraham........maybe so.  But I wish it wasn't....not just the
promise, Lord, not just a covenant of promise, but bring us all
to a covenant fulfilled that "takes away" the carnal mind.

No nde-s !
If you try to understand things in the afterlife by nde-s then you would not need to read eny . Just get your self a book with ferry tails and that will do the job .
There are so many nde-s ! So many types with vivid worlds and hells ,and heavens ,and with no hells ,and with vibrations ,and with demons ,with horns, and animals ,and pop stars and...LOTS.
I have read soooo many of them.

I read a few books about NDE's. A couple of scientists studied them and found that the VAST MAJORITY of them were positive. I even posted about it elsewhere on this site.

It's funny, the ET'ers' view the vast majority of NDE's as "non scriptural" but the occasional few that send some poor sap to a fiery place they jump on as "proof". Yet, they themselves teach that no one EVER gets out of Hell yet these guys who have these NDE's are allowed to leave. That in itself is a contradiction.

Quotethe ET'ers' view the vast majority of NDE's as "non scriptural"
Of course it's good to stick to the Scripture because there are so many charlans that wanna earn some money by selling a book. => Andromeda_Organa tip

It's clear ETs don't agree with UR. But I think even ETs have to admit UR isn't based on reading 2 verses backward and out of context.
And when the UR type NDEs start pouring in a true seeker should start scratching behind the ears.

I think most people start seeking with an open mind but after a while for most there is no going back because that would mean you were wrong for years. And that would hurt ones pride.

Of course, but ETer's have a narrow view of Scripture. If something disagrees with their interpretation they just write it off as incorrect instead of opening their minds and digging into Scripture deeper to see that maybe they're reading it wrong.

If the Hell NDE's are related to actually being there then they proves two things and two things only.

1. It would be true that you would want to avoid such a place.

2. In the event that you end up there,  there is hope that you can escape.

3. Every thread on this site is lie.

Some views are (perhaps) debateble but the core seems very solid to me

I'm wondering if those ET NDEs can be true even if the outcome is UR.
God works in strange why submitting His creating to evil to create a loving 'harvest'.
I have no idea what good a hell NDE would do but still there is a reason for it.
Perhaps it's some sort of cruel parable?

NDE are dependent on culture and upbringing.  People from foreign countries that had NDE experience have seen the Buddha, Mohammad, etc.  Catholic are greeted by the Virgin Mary while anti-Catholic fundamentalist witness Catholics burning in Hell for saying 'Hail Mary'.  NDE would be more believable if people saw the exact same set of visions regardless of culture, but they don't.  Bigoted, hate-filled Fundamentalists selective say that all NDE that doesn't involve someone burning in Hell or meeting a Jesus that believes everything that Fundamentalists teach is being deceived while all visions that fit their doctrine are true.  Occam's Razor says its a hallucination and that only people who see what's on the other side are the ones that don't come back (those that are truly dead and not clinically 'dead').  I think I'll take Occam's word at it because, unlike the fundamentalists, he's not given over to self-deception.

There's NDE about a muslim that converted instantly to Chrisianity after having a Jesus NDE.
Possibly just a lie.

Some are, many aren't. Many don't see their "version" of God, they just see a being of light. Plus, maybe those who see a particular deity or whatever interpret that being of light to be Jesus, or Muhammad or whatever. That's also a possibility. You also mentioned a hallucination. Maybe, but many of these NDE's happen when there's no brain activity. That rules out a hallucination.

But let me state this. I'm sure that not every NDE is actual. Some probably are hallucinations but there's a LOT that can't be explained as such. That's simply a fact. Something is happening. And I don't want to get into a lengthy debate about it but my admittedly limited research into this actually reinforces what we believe.

:cloud9: I don't understand why some people think they are hallucinations. The Word says that if you die, your spirit returns to the One who sent it. So obviously, they would go, they would see, and if they came back, they would tell, LOL......My  :2c: Blessings....

But is nearly dead the same as really dead.
I've also read NDEs of people that didn't even nearly die. They were healty and just gota vision. I think Bill Wiese is one of them.
Plus heavy medication can play tricks on you mind too.
Normal dreams can be very vivid too. So I think that many NDEs aren't really NDEs to start with. You could classify them as dreams of hallucinations. And I'm sure some just money making.

Then another question I have is what about the hell NDEs?
If they are really NDEs; NDEs given by God why show the ET torture chamber?
That sounds like God tells lies in NDEs

From Rich Man and Lazarus

Luke 16:28-31
For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.
Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. Rich man wants to go back to tell his (N)DE
And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.
And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead. NDE people sorta rose from the dead.

So all NDEs are fake?

Note to Cardinal: This is not about debunking your claim spirits return to God. But possibly debunking the 'fact' that anyone that gets a NDE is able to return.
