The primary purpose of this brief illustration is to enlighten the reader to the contextual limitations that are highlighted in this study. Careful and prudent care must be adhered to when using the word "all" in scripture. In Universalism, "all" is commonly referred to as "all, with no exceptions" in most of the universalist quotations. This is clearly refuted by many many verses in the New Testament. This is only a partial listing of the verses that clearly show limitations to the word "all," not exhaustive, but there are enough examples here to give the reader deeper insight and raise awareness to the wiles and schemes of Universalism.
you went to diggin deeper into that Don Hewey guy didnt cha WW ? LOL ........... :mshock:
I had my doubts also bro and weigh it all out
in the Scriptures ''all things'' had me baffled till I realized it is an '''individual''' work of God in each as He chooses to do , Gods will is perfect , and I dont doubt that anymore
I have said this for a long time now after the study of ''all things ''
a few years back ..
I get turned around at times but it is the Lord who sets straight and till I dug in deep and rooted my heart in Gods love and power to save His creation , I was shaken , my earth many times and finally me heaven as well ...
till the Lord filled this within me /individual work at the appointed time
Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.
Hbr 12:27 And this [word], Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: For our God [is] a consuming fire.
I do not doubt GODS PERFECT WORK .. :HeartThrob:

If you/I fear such site; the faith in your own doctrine isn't that solid I think.
But I do think if you just sit down afew hours and debunk every last letter of that site you come out with stronger faith.

Matthew 12:31 Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy [against] the [Holy] Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.
"All" here in Matthew 12:31 is used with an exception---the exception of blasphemy against the Holy Ghost.
-> shame you forgot to quote the other verses on that topic...
Matthew 19:11 But he said unto them, All [men] cannot receive this saying, save [they] to whom it is given.
Obviously "all" men are not married, some men do in fact marry. Jesus Christ is making an important distinction here in Matthew 19:11, between those called to be single or married.
-> That's why the words are "All cannot" instead of "All"
Matthew 19:20 The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet?
The young man did not keep "all" of the commandmants as he stated. He disobeyed Jesus Christ's commandment by idolizing the things that he had. That is the sin of idolatry.
-> There is a difference if who is saying things. When God uses all it's far more trustworthy than when it comes from the mouth of that young man. Possibly the young man thought he did all well before Jesus asked him to sell his stuff.
Matthew 21:22 And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.
"All" righteous things. Not evil things.
-> Good point! Plus I doubt all good prayers will be heared....

WW, do you think that because "all" is at times used to denote the all of the context and that at times it does not mean absolutely all that this should be imported into Romans 5:18,19; 1 Tim.2:4-6; 4:10 etc?

Its all part of the Plan Bro Brian ,
 what good is faith without it being tested , tried and true anyways ? how many times has that happened the fear and dread beore the peace and Joy in the comforter consoles us ? it is darkest before the Dawn and a New Day in Christ comes to us whom has an end to that old faith , we go from Faith to Faith as Paul so aptly puts it :)
Rom 1:17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
in context Romans I is good stuff !
Where is our Bro White Wings , that crazy Dutchman anyhoo ?!!!

I think that's not what the article is about.
Example: "All are saved."
UR article give a list of verses that show that all simply means all. That is the proof that all=100% are saved.
The article shows that all doesn't always means 100% of humanity. Ther use that 'knowledge' as a tool to prove that 'All are saved' means 'All elect/believers/... are saved'
A more direct answer; Yes. I even have one of the verses you mentioned in my signature... :laughing7:
But I have to add that some of the article does make sense to me. My Bible 'knowledge' is very shallow (and never claimed otherwise); so there are things that confuse me at times.
