As you explore the About and Tribute pages, you can discover some of the foundational story of this website. It was the heart, passion, and ministry calling of the Amirault’s. As I (Gerry B.) became close with Gary and now steward this website, I recall many conversations where Gary lamented over its current state. He wasn’t very technical, and it was a challenge to navigate this new world of web development. Even in its challenging state, it truly is a website that millions of Christians have used to discover “The Victorious Gospel of Christ” and have their lives changed forever.

As with all things, His Majesty King Jesus’ timing is always perfect. From the time of Gary’s passing until 2026, we — Hope for All Fellowship — had been praying the Lord would connect us with someone who could dedicate themselves to what was a truly daunting task. Someone who felt a conviction and calling to complete the work at hand. Thankfully, in March 2026 the Lord revealed it was time, and all the plans aligned into what is this new website.

What follows on this page are some key technical and relational elements to help guide you through the site, as you may or may not need them.

As the technical audit was done, we discovered there were around 1,500 individual HTML webpages spanning the entire site. Often, with links buried deep within links and even after we thought we had audited it all, we found more pages in hiding. This task also necessitated a thorough architectural approach to optimally reorganize the content for improved accessibility. The goal was to reduce friction and eliminate multiple entry points to the same content.

Thankfully, through much prayer and contemplation, the Lord by His Holy Spirit gave inspiration to the web designer-developer (as he relays his own story of this work). It is important to understand; every design aspect of this website was prayed over. Working in tandem with the Lord and current web design principles. No stone was left unturned.

As of the time of completion, we have recorded: 395 articles; 41 books, amounting to 475 individual pages; 33 FAQ pages; 107 inspirational pages; 71 multilingual pages; 155 quotes pages which, by a rough estimate, amount to 4,500 individual quotes, an exceptional acquisition by Gary over the years; 87 testimonial and bio pages; 40 tracts pages. There are now 1,292 pages of content. Truly an incredible feat by any ministry out there.

Automating the transfer of single-form HTML webpages into a content management system (CMS) would not work. Due to — inconsistency of styling and code across 1,500 pages. The outcome was: … it had to be done manually.

While this wasn’t optimal, it did, however, present an opportunity for site-wide “light touch editing and standardization” by the web designer-developer-editor. Thankfully, he was familiar with current theological publishing standards. This editing work took about two months. Some books also needed to be re-digitized, to which some AI tools contributed to speeding up the process.

Light touch editing comprised the following where it made sense:

• Reduction of the usage of bold fonts and excessive italics across the website. Styling which in the early 2000s might have been okay, but by today’s standards, just created an unbecoming online reading experience.
• Adding scripture and quotations into styled blockquotes. Blue being Scripture and our harvest color for quotes.
• Standardization of scripture referencing as per the 2026 Chicago Manual of Style (CMOS) and Society of Bible Literature (SBL) standards. This meant, for example, changing Mt. 5:12 to Matt. 5:12; Lk. 1:1 to Luke 1:1; etc.
• Inclusion of Bible versions, where known or could be assessed in a multi-bible translation article or text.
• Change of some writing styles for scriptural inclusion in brackets. An example of John 1:1, rather than “… and the Word was God.” (John 1:1) And so, we see …” it is adjusted to “… and the Word was God” (John 1:1). And so, we see ….” This allows for a clearer sentence connection and follows current writing standards.
• Reformatting of all books into strong, chapter-delineated pages. This will help with all long-form content. Rather than reading a whole one-page HTML book, they are now in chapter formats as found on the book’s landing page.
• We maintained all the native elements of a book, but where the paragraph structure was traditionally much larger than online reading could handle, we then broke up the paragraphing where it fit the flow of the text.

There is one more key light touch edit, which is mentioned in more depth in the next section. Where any editing was done, we added on the book’s landing page [Editor’s note (2026): …].

As noted, we have harmonized the navigation throughout this website. We believe you’re really going to love this new functionality. We have also made the website mobile friendly especially in the header/menu area. No matter where you are within the mega-menu, you will always be one step away from the library.

Our two key menus are: the Library and About pages. These will bring you to the content as it has been newly organized and also looks great on mobile.

What is specific now with the mega-menu is that unfortunately, when one is deep in study, it could be challenging to recall what section of the website you are in. Are you in a book, an article? Therefore, as you scroll in the menu will appear with the icon of the library, just to give you a signal that you are “here.” This example is the Books icon and the Tracts icon.

Next, this is a self-explanatory one, but we have now designed the site to work in a Light Mode / Dark Mode. You can choose which you prefer as some do like to do heavy reading in Dark Mode as it is often easier on the eyes. You can adjust this by clicking on the Sun or Moon icon.

Every Library landing page brings up the content that is found within. On desktop, it will be quite visible that on the right side you will always find the “Filter by Topic” bar. Which will help you filter further by topic as you wish. For mobile, we want to highlight that this is still present, but as you see in the images, you just need to click the icon and the filter will side load and you can manage filtering further from there.

Depending on the content within a single page, it can be short or long, and sometimes there are no sub-headings within the writing, or there are sub-headings. When these exist, you will see a sidebar called “On This Page.” You can choose to keep this open or collapse it by clicking on the arrow. Likewise, this functions on mobile like the section 07 noted above.

Finally, we haven’t an image for this but there is also a reading bar which is a fine 2 – 3px line which as you progress on the page, you will see this move from left to right.

The website has, for the first time, a true “search” capability. Although we haven’t implemented a pure AJAX loading search, this new search ability allows for “fuzzy logic” searching. There are two routes to search. (1) Via the menu bar. This will pop-up a full-page overlay with a search bar (2) Via the dedicated Search page at https://tentmaker.org/search.

Within the search page, you will then find your search word or term highlighted as the function finds it anywhere within specifically the “library.” An example here is if one searched on Origen, this is what you would see.

For printing content from this website, we’ve chosen to rely on the standard browser printing functionality built into whatever browser you’re using.

The site’s code has been adjusted so that background colors, the menu bar, and footer are removed, giving you a clean, full-page print. This works equally well whether you’re in Light or Dark Mode.

Finally, upon much deliberation and prayer, we have kept all commenting closed on the website for posts. It was a decision we feel is best for the time being. In truth, we have the Forum, which will still be active and open, along with where most discussion takes place on our Facebook Groups page (https://www.facebook.com/groups/tentmaker) to which you can engage with like-minded believers.

For the Forum, it may take a little longer to sync up with the new website design. We need to explore this further. What will have been updated is our new logo.
