Law of Moses Versus Law of Jesus(Love)

The Letter of the Law Kills; it is the Spirit that gives life.

Millions upon millions of Christians have been seduced into living “under the law of Moses” which can only produce death. The Mosaic Covenant and the New Covenant are entirely different. See Comparing the New and Old Covenants A lengthier version showing all the scripture references can be found at Old and New Covenants Also see The Pillar Laws of the New Covenant

This HUGE error has riddled almost the entire church. Living UNDER the Mosaic Law is DEATH. Living IN the Law of the Spirit of the life IN Christ Jesus is LIFE. When Jesus said,

“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another.”  (John 13:34) and

“You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor[8] and hate your enemy.’  But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven.” (Matt. 5:43-45)

“Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me.” (John 13:34)

The Mosaic Covenant is a Covenant between God and a fleshly nation that broke the covenant the first day it was made. Man is incapable of keeping covenant with God. It is only pride that thinks it can keep one’s word or a promise with God. However, the New Covenant is a covenant between God the Father and God the Son on behalf of man who was locked up in sinful death and unbelief. In Adam all died, there was none righteous, there was NONE able to keep the Mosaic law. There are millions of Jews and Christians who think they are “keeping the law” when in actuality, they are blind to their own law-breaking and self-righteousness. As a result, they have to heap tons of condemnation and guilt upon others to make themselves feel a semblance of “righteousness” by making others look bad according to their own interpretations of “the law.” And each of these “law-keepers” chops up “the law” in such a way to elevate themselves while condemning others. They not only judge others according to their own interpretation and understanding of “the law,” they project on to God their own ideas of righteousness and holiness making God to look like a hypocrite to the average decent person.  “Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees which is hypocrisy.”  (Luke 12:1)

Ask the Holy Spirit to teach you about the “Law of the Spirit IN the LIFE of Christ Jesus.” Live IN Christ, not UNDER the Law of Moses.

Moses is Dead! Jesus lives forever…
