QuoteFaithful is this saying and deserving of universal acceptance: and here is the motive of our toiling and wrestling, because we have our hopes fixed on the ever-living God, who is the Saviour of all mankind, and especially of believers. Command this and teach this.

Especially= malista

Only= monon/ monos

QuoteHe is the Mercy-Seat for our sins, and not for our sins ONLY/ monon/ monos, but for the sins of the whole ungodly multitude.

Are our broadest hopes broad enough? Shall there be a nook or abyss, in all the universe of God, finally unlightened by the Cross? Shall there be a sin, or sorrow, or pain unhealed? Is the very universe, is creation in all its extent, a field wide enough for the Son of God?

QuoteThe word "specially" is translated from the Greek word malista, which means "in
the greatest degree or particularly" (Strong's Greek Dictionary p. 155). It is
translated "specially," "especially," "chiefly" and "most of all." In every single
usage of this word in the New Testament it is used in relation to others who are
not excluded, but included in the same subject. Let us notice a few of these so
that we can be absolutely convinced in our own minds that the "specially
believers" can in no possible way exclude the "all men" of the same verse.
"For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers,
SPECIALLY [Gk: malista] they of the circumcision" (Titus 1:10).
Is it even

1 Timothy 2:3-4  ...God our Savior;  Who will have all men to be saved...
John 12:47  And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.
Romans 4:5 But to the one who does not work, but believes in the one who declares the ungodly righteous ...

It's not hard quote some verses that show that especially means all.
Many/most ETs won't deny that. But because that conflicts with their 'wide road leads to everlasting hell' doctrine they need a way out.
All really means all of certain group. So the focus of convincing an ET shouldn't be on that all=100% but the group that 100% is applied too.

Then the word especially pops up... According to them it specifies the 100%-group.
And if you drown them in verses showing them wrong they just say 'you took that verse out of context'.
Then a list of hell verses follows to prove the context. And then... you reached absolutely nothing.
Only people that want to learn can be teached.....

W.W. there are exactly 12 verses of the New Covenant that use the word especially. In not one instance does it mean all, not one.

Quoteand especially of believers
Do you think some believers are excluded?
I think only believers are saved. (Maybe today. Maybe in 1234 years)
And everyone will become a believer. (Maybe today. Maybe in 1234 years)

Galatians 6:10  As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.

All "of the household of faith" or a certain pecentage?

1 Timothy 5:17  Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine.

Again I think not even one of those that "labour in the word of doctrine" are excluded.

2 Timothy 4:13   The cloke that I left at Troas with Carpus, when thou comest, bring with thee, and the books, but especially the parchments.

The books should be taken; but certainly 100% of the parchments.

That's how read 'especially'.
It's not to exclude. It's given emphasizes that the group is included.

John 12:47  And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.

So I agree with you on: we pay particular attention
But still my question/opinion is that 'especially' doesn't exclude anything.
It's more like 'double including'

Our God is the Saviour of all mankind. He is not the potential Saviour, He is the Saviour of all mankind, all, the whole enchilada.

But

And, it is a large but indeed, our God is the Saviour especially of those who place their trust in Him (who believe).

It is for this reason that we accept both the strict discipline of training and the stern struggle of the contest, because we have set our hope on the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, and above all the Saviour of those who believe. -Jonathan Mitchell New Testament-

Quotefor into this [end] are we constantly working hard unto weariness, and are continuously struggling in the contest (contending for the prize; other MSS: being reproached), because we have placed our expectation (hope) and thus rely upon a living God (or: upon [the] living God), Who is (exists being) [the] Savior (Deliverer; Rescuer; Restorer to health and wholeness) of all mankind ‑ especially of believers (of ones full of faith and trust; of faithful ones)!

Be constantly announcing these things to those at your side, passing them along from one to another, and keep on teaching them!

-J. B. Phillips-

QuoteWe place our whole confidence in the living God, the saviour of all men, and particularly of those who believe in him. These convictions should be the basis of your instruction and teaching.

New English Bible

QuoteHere are words you may trust, words that merit full acceptance: with this before us we labour and struggle, because we have set our hope on the living God, who is the Saviour of all men--the Saviour, above all, of believers. Pass on these orders and these teachings.

The New Testament Of The Jerusalem Bible

QuoteI mean that the point of all our toiling and battling is that we have put our trust in the living God and he is the savior of the whole human race but particularly of all believers. This is what you are to enforce in your teaching.

"Now unto Him who is able to do exceeding abundantly ABOVE what we can ask or think.

"Now unto Him who is able to keep you from falling."

"And, he, is the head of the body, the assembly, Who is the beginning, Firstborn from among the dead, in order that, he, might become, in all things, himself, pre-eminent; -"

"One God and Father of all - who is over all, and through all, and in all."

Jesus Christ....

"who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation; for in him were all things created, in the heavens and upon the earth, things visible and things invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers; all things have been created through him, and unto him; and he is before all things, and in him all things consist.

And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. For it was the good pleasure of the Father that in him should all the fulness dwell; and through him to reconcile all things unto himself, having made peace through the blood of his cross; through him, I say, whether things upon the earth, or things in the heavens. And you...."

It's simple, I think, given the way especially is used.

1Ti 4:10 (for intofor this are we toiling and being reproached), that we rely on the living God, Who is the Saviour of all mankind, especially of believers.

Ga 6:10 Consequently, then, as we have occasion, we are working toward for the good of all, yet specially toward for the family of faith.

Only seems to have exclusivity since, scripture will qualify the word as in the verse in the above link saying   "not only"

Those who do not believe benefit,  but are not understanding in the same way believers are.   One day they will, however.

I think this verse can be extrapulated out to show the following:
God is alive.
God is saving all mankind.
God is saving the believer in a special way.(for a particular purpose)
Not all are believers.
Niether belief nor unbelief change the fact that God is saving all.
We will suffer reproach for serving this God.
If I'm off my nut here straighten me out please!

From one nut to another....You are correct!

God Is

We all know the apostle John's statement that God is love. But what else does the Bible specifically declare God to be with the terms, "God is..." or "the Lord is..."?

From Numbers...

The Lord is longsuffering, and of great mercy

From Deuteronomy, we get...

God is a consuming fire.

God is a merciful God.

God is a jealous God.

In Samuel, Hannah says...

The Lord is a God of knowledge

2 Chronicles reports that...

God is gracious and merciful

Psalm 47 declares...

God is the King of all the earth

Psalm 75 says...

God is the judge

Psalm 103 declares that...

The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.

Psalm 111 says...

The Lord is gracious and full of compassion.

Psalm 116 says...

God is gracious and merciful

Psalm 145...

The Lord is good and righteous

Isaiah says...

The Lord is a God of judgment.

The Lord is our judge, our lawgiver and our king.

Jeremiah says

God is the true God, the living God and an everlasting king.

Nahum says...

The Lord is slow to anger, and great in power.

Daniel 9 declares...

God is righteous in all his works

In the Gospel of John, Jesus says...

God is a Spirit

To the Corinthians, Paul says...

God is faithful

God is true

From Hebrews...

God is a consuming fire.

The apostle John writes that...

God is light

God is love

Peter says...

The Lord is faithful
