I hope nobody will be offended at my using the word magic.., but we already know it is holy, pure and miraculous!

Lately I've been thinking how God's Word is like a 'magic' language.. What with the wide ranges in possible uses of most words.

I was looking in the Hebrew to see if the ranges are as wide as with the Greek, and started with Genesis 1:1. I saw that the word "create" - the short definition is choose, and "in the beginning" is beginning, chief.. then possibly also choice, choicest, first..

... heavens, sky and land (verse 2). And I got as far as "was without form" when I found myself thinking of how our Heavenly Father does share His mind with us, his followers. And that these verses are an example of it.. Like in the beginning when Elohim (God plural, Father and Son-imo)  - well I've always thought of the second account of the creation in chapter two as an insert (only) to the first account, but now I'm wondering if the first account isn't a sharing of the thoughts and plan of it all before the doing of it.. in the chief chose..

:dunno: :gsmile: just some thoughts on the Word of God..

Have a great day! A great Mother's Day all mothers.. dads too! As followers of Jesus we are parent.. elders to those around us.. precious ones (jewels) our rewards in His kingdom! (imo :2c: )

The literality of the 'Living Word'.
Indeed removing the interpretations that some so-called leaders have enforced on the masses will be like removing the blinders from the eyes, and the wonder will be inspirational on all fronts.
T'is also pretty magic when considering that creation was carried out by the power of the word.
Fellow brother in Christ

What is magic? Is it not seeing something accomplished without knowing how it is accomplished? (like a magic trick)

But then by seeing HOW it is accomplished there is no more mystery

It is only a trick or mystery when part of the process is hidden

This is why we have a passion for the how, because His Word says "There is nothing hidden that will not be revealed"

The more we understand about "the how" the more He reveals to us about "the why", and "the why" is always based on, in, and through  LOVE

Wisdom is not measured by time, it is measured by understanding
