The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not  willing (act. in Greek, 'Boulomenos' = resolutely resolving ) that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. God resolutely resolves to save ALL. 2) has God got the power and ability to save all ?....answer =yes, with God ALL things are possible  ( Matthew 19:26 )....3) does God always get what He wants ? answer= yes, Psalm 135:6 ►The LORD does whatever pleases him, in the heavens and on the earth, in the seas and all their depths.2 Chronicles 20:6► He said:Yahweh, the God of our ancestors, are You not the God who is in heaven, and do You not rule over all the kingdoms of the nations? Power and might are in Your hand, and no one can stand against You.Job 42:2►I know that You can do /anything and no plan of Yours can be thwarted.4) is the will of a person to reject God stronger than God's will to save them ?...answer= No, we have already seen that it's God's resolve to save all and noone can stand against Him......in this world a persons will is 'Fallen' like every thing else, as a result of the Fall....a persons will is affected by external circumstances, upbringing, matters beyond someones control...after death the Lord will heal the Will, restore it (the Bible talks about the restoration of ALL things ) so after death , unlike now, a person will be able to recognize just who Jesus is and will reach out to the 'Father of spirits' (Hebrews 12:9 ) in repentance through the Lord Jesus Christ and be reconciled. .BTW, the Bible doesn't say anywhere that this present life is our only chance to find and accept Christ....it says after death 'the judgement' not eternal hell or annihilation.
"I have sworn by Myself, The word has gone forth from My mouth in righteousness And will not turn back, That to Me every knee will bow, every tongue will swear allegiance".Isaiah 45:23

we have already seen that it's God's resolve to save all and noone can stand against Him......in this world a persons will is 'Fallen' like every thing else, as a result of the Fall....a persons will is affected by external circumstances, upbringing, matters beyond someones control...after death the Lord will heal the Will, restore it (the Bible talks about the restoration of ALL things )

The state of being "Fallen" is interesting.

Psalm 145:14The LORD upholds all who fall and lifts up all who are bowed down. (BSB)

Not only do we have the classic Strong's 3605 all לְכָל־ (lə?ḵāl), but we have the Fallen.

who fall
הַנֹּפְלִ֑ים (han?nō?p̄ə?l?m)

Strong's 5307: To fall,

Who are the fallen? All of us! Literally, God promised here to uphold us! What an amazing verse  :dsunny:

Like you say, people enter this Fallen state by matters outside of their control. For me, it seems that the Lord has predestined all people to become "Fallen" so that they can eventually become believers in Christ, thus "Upholden".

:iagree: : great how the truth of God's character and plan really is amazing: His love never fails: All will be saved:
All the word differences of translation is a bit like the tower of babel.
Paul points out what  the prophets, particularly Isaiah and Jeremiah, said: can the pot say to the potter-
So indeed the will and intention of God is awesome.
