How many are constituted sinners?

In my current understanding Adam, representing all the flesh, even though he was initially perfect, sinned.
Paul makes the observation about the plan for salvation was on the agenda 'before the world began'.
So God and Jesus KNEW that Adam would sin.
Man in the O.T kept offering sacrifices so that the concept of the need for cleansing was planted in our little brains.
Paul only found out about the mystery, which had been hidden from other generations, as to how and why this was all planned.
Then he elaborates this truth, yet grasps that each will only be shown this truth by God at their own appointed time.
NO CHURCH I attended knows this or talks about this. People have yearnings inside, but are not aware of what they yearn.
The seed is there, but will germinate at some point for each person.
So this all, for me, means that the many constituted sinners will only be shown this glorious truth in an orderly fashion, on a particular day for each person, which will not be till the resurrection for the majority.
That is the other thing that NO CHURCH mentioned- there are "ages" to come.
Paul's writings to the Romans about the grafting in of the Gentiles to the tree of the Israelites states that ALL of Israel will be saved even though only a remnant currently are aware of that fact.
Amazing how when the blinders are removed then ALL of mankind will see life from a different perspective.

Jesus Christ = Breathtaking Recovery

"You know the story of how Adam landed us in the dilemma we're in - first sin, then death, and no one exempt from either sin or death.

That sin disturbed relations with God in everything and everyone, but the extent of the disturbance was not clear until God spelled it out in detail to Moses. So death, this huge abyss separating us from God, dominated the landscape from Adam to Moses. Even those who didn't sin precisely as Adam did by disobeying a specific command of God still had to experience this termination of life, this separation from God.

But Adam, who got us into this, also points ahead to the One who will get us out of it.

Yet the rescuing gift is not exactly parallel to the death-dealing sin. If one man's sin put crowds of people at the dead-end abyss of separation from God, just think what God's gift poured through one man, Jesus Christ, will do!

There's no comparison between that death-dealing sin and this generous, life-giving gift.

The verdict on that one sin was the death sentence; the verdict on the many sins that followed was this wonderful life sentence.

If death got the upper hand through one man's wrongdoing, can you imagine the breathtaking recovery life makes, sovereign life, in those who grasp with both hands this wildly extravagant life-gift, this grand setting-everything-right, that the one man Jesus Christ provides?

Here it is in a nutshell: Just as one person did it wrong and got us in all this trouble with sin and death, another person did it right and got us out of it. But more than just getting us out of trouble, he got us into life!

The verse(s?) which says "grace MUCH MORE abounds" than death - the effect Adam's sin had - goes so very missed and overlooked in the churches and faith! :doh:  :Chinscratch: Life trumps death. (Today man thinks life is an anomaly, but death is the anomaly..)

And also the verse "HE subjected all to disobedience that He may have mercy upon all.."

..He's writing His law on the hearts.. and is thoroughly(?) exposing in all it's abyss of potential, the all important, thorough, understanding of good from evil.. Life from death?

Dear Marie: Grace much more abounds is a word that is not only more, but more to a greater degree or much more by far. The amazing reach of Abba in reconciliation is polus mallon reaching beyond all sin, despair and death>>>>much, much more!

Mallon is closely associated with malista. Yes, the especially of His amazing reach is in the same vein>>God is the Saviour of all mankind>>>but He is the Saviour especially of those who trust in Him/who believe.

May His great affection for His especially be yours again today.
