That which He longs for.

He has purposed = protithēmi =

To purpose & determine.

To set before Himself. =

To propose to Himself.

That which He has set in view.

His counsel & purpose.

Put forth in power.

To effect by showing Himself.

What He has determined shall be done.

His purpose  to bless all mankind through Christ.

His command, precept, will, choice, inclination, desire, pleasure.
