micah7:9

In Genesis 2:7 it speaks of the "breath of life" as I understand it Genesis 1:30 speaks of the same life.
Gen.1:30
everything that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life,
every moving animal on the land, which has in it a living soul,
every thing that creepeth upon the earth
every thing that moveth on the land
every creeping thing on the earth

I have to believe that includes man, for man became a living soul.
LIFE H2416 chay  From H2421; alive H2421 châyâ A prim root; to live
I have thought about this and I asked the question just what is this "breath of life?
Is this THE SPIRIT as I read in Genesis 1:2 of fluttering/vibrating? I say no.
SPIRIT H73o7 rûach  From H7306; wind
H7306 rûach  A primitive root; properly to blow, that is, breathe
BREATH H5397  neshâmâh From H5395; a puff, that is, wind, angry or vital breath, divine inspiration, intellect or (concretely) an animal: - blast, (that) breath (-eth), inspiration, soul, spirit. H5395  nâsham A primitive root; properly to blow away, that is, destroy: - destroy.
SPIRIT G4151 pneuma From G4154; a current of air, that is, breath (blast) or a breeze; by analogy or figuratively a spirit, G4154 pneō  A primary word; to breathe hard, that is, breeze: - blow. Compare G5594.
G4154, which denotes properly a forcible respiration; and on the other from the base of G109, G109  aēr
From ἄημι aēmi (to breathe unconsciously, that is, respire;
G5594 psuchō  A primary verb; to breathe (voluntarily but gently;
I believe  G5594 psuchō and G109  aēr best describe the breath of life that mankind and the other living creatures(souls) are able to exisit or have life. I also believe that it is the "life" that is spoke of in Gen. 3:20.
So then I began to consider Joh 10:10  "...... I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly."
This life Jesus is speaking of is not this earth life that we human beings now live on earth. I believe that the CLV shows it best Joh 10:10 "..... I came that they may have life eonian, and have it superabundantly."

There are some who say that mankind, a breathing creature, a living soul was a spirit prior to becoming the living soul in Gen. 2:7. but if that be true then did Paul spoke in error?
when he wrote  1Co 15:44  it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body; there is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body;
1Co 15:45  so also it hath been written, `The first man Adam became a living creature,' the last Adam is for a life-giving spirit,

I love the brethren. I believe in Jesus Christ crucified. I just have questions.

No Paul didn't speak in error.  But I do think he was speaking in this instance about a particular process that will take place, now that we are born into this fallen world, a process of redemption, of restoration.  As they say, how can you restore something to a place it never was?

Ephesians 1

4According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

I have for many years been a believer in the RE- teaching. As you state "how can you restore something to a place it never was?"
And I become befuddled. Paul said that man/adam was first a living(creature) soul, the first Adam and the second Adam a life giving spirit. I must always remind myself that God Is Spirit; so then all and anything that comes forth out of God is Spirit. I believe and accept that. But if God, who is Spirit took it in His mind to bring forth from His Spirit something that was first the natural and that later would bring forth that which is a life giving spirit, could my God and Creator not do that? And then He still would have the ability to restore back again, while it was not spirit first.

For mine the scrips show TWO breaths NOT one in symbolism- :icon_flower: one for man= natural man\soul- the other NEW birth = spiritual Man--\renewed soul-
my posts are way too long, no matter how many times in different patterns this is  shown folk will still see what they are given to see-- :icon_flower:

I believe he could do that as you described, I don't see a problem with it. But I still see some key words in the scriptures you showed, which might show you something.

when he wrote  1Co 15:44  it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body; there is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body;

It is Sown a natural body -- Now in nature a seed is an actual live substance that brings forth and grows into something. Jesus said out of the heart proceed good thoughts and evil thoughts. So in a sense we grow into the natural body.

1Co 15:45  so also it hath been written, `The first man Adam became a living creature,' the last Adam is for a life-giving spirit,

Same principle here. But Not sure what exactly Paul means by 'last Adam is for a life giving spirit'
Perhaps other bible versions make it more readable.
