Gary, I feel so terrible!  I tried to sign up, not realizing that I had already signed up for this forum.  I posted a message in one of your videos that you can now ignore.  Thanks so much for providing the service, it is soooo needed by so many people.

I was brought up in a traditional charismatic church that taught that God loves us so much that He died for 10% of us on the cross.  The other 90% had His salvation if they had just accepted it, but darn that free will.  It is the death of most of us.  Because we have "free will", then God allowed most of us to "choose" the road to eternal hell suffering.

I read a book by a woman who said she saw people being thrown into hell.  In her vision, she was lifted up above earth and saw a network of tunnels leading from space into the interior of the earth, those were the tubes leading to hell.  She said they look like "dirty slinkies".   She went down one of them and saw people agonizing and threshing in pain... a "skeleton with a dull gray mist" through it.  These people were in there to suffer for eternity, according to her vision.  Ever since then I called hell "dirty slinky time".  Sometimes I would get frustrated and use that as a curse word..... "dirty filthy slinky time"!  All the while I was being tormented by that belief.

I just thank you that you have a counter belief that makes more sense of the TRUE love of God and of Christ.

Socrates taught Plato.  Plato taught Aristotle.  Aristotle tutored the son of Philip of Macedon.  This boy grew up to become Alexander the Great, largely by slaughtering a lot of people.  That's philosophy.

Jesus spoke the Truth.  He blessed the poor.  He healed the sick.  He even raised the dead.  He died on a cross for us, lived again, and came back long enough to tell us to love one another.  That's religion.
