hello there!  Just had a look at the resource you have on UR from your blog site. Looks really good, you've laid out some of the key scriptures really well.

Sometimes Im not sure if the "beutiful heresy" isnt a bit misleading as a title.  I think it was Irenaeus who first said one of the worst thing about heresies is how they try to insinuate themselves into orthodoxy.  The view that all are originally saved was the orthodoxy for the early church.  A strong case can be made to to say that its the pagan concept of eternal torment thats the real heresy!

I have come to firmly believe your quote adam.
From what I have learned so far, eternal "Hell" and eternal torment are more related to pagan Norse and Greek religions and not to the early church before 250 AD.
