Hello All--  Happy to be here.  I've been very encouraged reading many of your posts.  It's nice to not have to feel like I'm the only one who sees God in this way.  I thank God for Gary and Michelle--may they rest in peace.  And I thank God for all of you kind souls!
Sinfulness is an illness that needs to be healed, not a crime that needs to be punished.

Going through the purifying fire of God's love will eventually bring about repentance in even the hardest heart.

Thank you all for your welcome!  There are so many posts to read to catch up on what has already been discussed, and so many articles to read--it's kind of overwhelming!  In a good way, though. : )
As soon as I learn the categories better so I know where to post what, I'll post a question or a thought or two.
If I post in the wrong place, don't hesitate to jump right in and let me know!

Socrates taught Plato.  Plato taught Aristotle.  Aristotle tutored the son of Philip of Macedon.  This boy grew up to become Alexander the Great, largely by slaughtering a lot of people.  That's philosophy.

Jesus spoke the Truth.  He blessed the poor.  He healed the sick.  He even raised the dead.  He died on a cross for us, lived again, and came back long enough to tell us to love one another.  That's religion.
