Dear friends greetings again. A few years has gone by since being on this remarkable site. The vision of our Father's cherished purpose continues to burn like a fire in my bones. I hope to be able to contribute further in days to come.

Are our broadest hopes broad enough? Shall there be a nook or abyss, in all the universe of God, finally unlightened by the Cross? Shall there be a sin, or sorrow, or pain unhealed? Is the very universe, is creation in all its extent, a field wide enough for the Son of God?

        Salutations FineLinen,

Great   to hear from you again .   I have been wondering about many of the   past members  and how they are doing  these days  just a couple of weeks ago.

I surely  remember  you ,     I have known you well over 20 years  now    .

Refining fire, a song, comes to mind.
The dross gets melted away by that fire.

Dear Ross: you are new to the Tent. I do trust your experience here will be one of uplift as we consider together what our glorious Father cherishes in the Son of His love. I hope to have a few posts on our God  the consuming fire one of these days.

You won't believe this, but I was thinking about you just the other day and wondering how you were doing and where you were. It is a joy to see your name and to know you are still ok. Always enjoyed the communication we shared in Jesus Christ and the Gospel.

Socrates taught Plato.  Plato taught Aristotle.  Aristotle tutored the son of Philip of Macedon.  This boy grew up to become Alexander the Great, largely by slaughtering a lot of people.  That's philosophy.

Jesus spoke the Truth.  He blessed the poor.  He healed the sick.  He even raised the dead.  He died on a cross for us, lived again, and came back long enough to tell us to love one another.  That's religion.

I have found my way to this forum from reading Finelinen comments on The Restitution Of All Things A.K.A. Universalism on Christian forums. I've been drawn to universalisme for the simple reason it is the only avenue open whereby God accomplishes everything he set out to achieve Genesis 1:27
