Anyone know how to turn off pop-ups?

Hello!

I keep getting pop ups for advertisements.

It didn't come from this forum, but wondering if anyone knows of a way to stop this. I have the new firefox and all the pop ups blocking pop ups so I think this is on my computer.

I heard of a program that does this but when I search it just appears to be more of those programs that cause pop ups are advertising for them.  :sigh:

Any help is well appreciated.

It's hard to tell what going on with so little information.

You could try searching for spyware with: http://www.superantispyware.com/index.html

  like WW , I am not sure  , because I have never had pop ups on  this forum

  Martin , knows alot  about this stuff as WW , they would be the ones to help you out   
good luck in clearing  pop-ups   off your screen  :thumbsup:
but   no one else i know has this problem
