Been a while since anyone has approved me for anything. : ) I'm not much of a forum poster although I was once pretty active on a Christian board. There doesn't seem to be all that much new chat on here anyway so that's ok. I just wanted to say that I've been reading a lot of the older threads here and have been impressed with the level of knowledge and with the fairly high level of civility here, even with the relatively (to some other forums') liberal tolerance for varying opinions among the moderators. And I've learned a lot. I'm increasingly becoming aware that none of us 'believers' has all the Truth and it's pretty important to pay attention to the views from all the Members of the Body who are doing the best that they can to describe the dim images that they see in the Glass. So... thank you.
I live in Louisiana, USA. Raised a Baptist so am a former ET'er, but with little care of it one way or the other, the same as for my Baptist 'faith'. Left 'faith' and became a hell-raiser. Then received the Spirit in my living room one night while stoned, went into the charismatic/aog/word of faith type stuff for a while. Preached, led singing, saw some miraculous happenings. Got a Revelation from the Spirit about 'Babylon', gave it to my church folks, and got spit out into the street. : ) Couldn't take the heat, was a lousy servant, and just gave up. Been recently getting back into the Word fairly heavily. Started questioning 'hell', discovered the mistranslations, went through annihilation phase (much better than the torture chamber concept), found L. Ray Smith's stuff on the web, along with Tentmaker. And here I am.
I'm still chewing on UR but I'm aware of all the Scriptures and most of the arguments either way by now. What ever I end up with, I thank God that he's not the Grand Torturer of the Universe. It's astonishing that otherwise reasonable, thinking, 'loving' people could be sold this kind of Mass Insanity as a basic tenet of any kind of 'faith'. It just blows my mind... but it's perfectly aligned with the things that God showed me about the Harlot and her wine cup. That wine is some Trippy stuff.
Will be looking forward to meeting all of you on that Day. I'm hoping to finally overcome and be counted worthy to be among the Body that is going to deliver this weary creation from it's bondage. Sure hoping the time is near. Looking pretty terrible 'out there'. What a mess adam and his free will have made.

Yes!! Great insight!
Welcome! I sometimes wish there was more activity here on tentmaker but then I think I would probably never get things done in the real world :) I love this forum.
Your story sounds interesting and everyone here seems to have a similar but different path as well. We are all a bunch of misfits :)
Hello! And welcome! I hope we'll see quite a bit of you on here! I agree this is a very civil forum, which I totally appreciate. It's very refreshing! Not that there likely are other very civil forums out there, but I do think recognizing the illogic of a cosmic torture chamber helps a great deal, after all we are made in His image and being transformed into a closer to Him image and how we perceive Him, does, I would think, make a difference in one's attitude and outlook.
Welcome!
You said it, GodIsLove! It's so easy to lose track of time, and other things when on here!
Hi SteveL, :dsunny:
Welcome to the Tent. Nice folks here and you'll like it. I'm 68 and it took the Lord many years to convince me of his intentions to save all. I came from a Catholic background and had hell implanted in my brain as a child. Heard the UR message back in the 1980's and rejected it. God was patient and convinced me in 1997 with a poem he spoke into my heart. Here is a link to it and if it blesses you it can be shared with anyone else you think it might help. :HeartThrob: http://www.gentletouchcreationsministries.com/eden-restored.html
Glad You Are Here,
Bob (He1MyHeart)
GodisLove - 'misfits' describes it pretty well. what a long, strange trip it's been.
Marie - Hi and thanks for the welcome. I've already enjoyed quite a number of your musings.

Yup! God Is Love you hit that one on the head! :iagree: Misfits that we are!
Thanks Bob! Nice poem. I'm 60 and still trying to scratch it all out.
Wow Bob! Love it! Especially the last stanza (is that what a poetic paragraph is called? :dontknow: )
I'm coming back tomorrow when I'm not on this phone and bookmark your site so I can share the link. I want to post it on Facebook with that last stanza.. It's nice and low key and right on target!! Thank you! I might go in the other room and do it right now! I should figure out how to do it on this phone.
..did I say thanks? Who can remember what they wrote in this tiny window..
Lol! Marie! I always type from my phone and it's impossible to know what I've typed :)
:dsunny: Thanks Marie--I just call all the poems on the site prophetic poetry since they just kind of bubble within and I get the job of writing them down to share. After receiving the Holy Ghost they started coming.
delightful thread...you guys are precious and so lovable... :HeartThrob:
Anyone read He1's poem by skipping every other line?

Awesome thread ! Love you all very much :HeartThrob:
Welcome Steve :welcome:
Jesus says the pure in heart will see God , so its possible to see just how God is in all His glory ... I love that , but what I find is religious mindsets cannot believe that lol...
Loved what you shared in your vision of Babylon ,,,,, , Yes the wine is the blood of the holy ones sacrificed already, making those who drink that wine violent and wild ones driven to religious madness , kings of the earth they are ...lol..
What I love about the Way of Christ is , He takes care of it , all you got to do is sow and go , its not up to you ..
I find religious mindsets , in a sense of urgency and pushy and they always believe it is up to them to save you , a winning souls for Christ , like if you do that you get some special award
Like your special or something and there is all that drama that goes with it :sigh:
I love the simplicity in Christ ,,,,
In Adam all die
The curse was on Adam from the beginning but it was a good thing ,
But many cannot ever see that as A Merciful GOD ........
We only know what we are given , just like poor little beggars , but those are the ones God loves and feeds well, just like them sparrows .
:cloud9: It's hard to be "kicked out", but that's what happens when truth hits. But consider this, you were really their "tithe", they offered you up and God accepted their offering. Now you walk with Him in a much deeper walk than was possible with the Jezebel covering over you. Blessings to you in your walk....
WELCOME, STEVEN!

I very much agree!
When I think about tentmaker, sometimes I am reminded of a verse - I haven't read in a long time "lengthen thy tent pegs" :Chinscratch: hmmm, where is that..?
(search-tent pegs) Isaiah 54:2
Amplified Bible
"Enlarge the site of your tent [to make room for more children]; Stretch out the curtains of your dwellings, do not spare them; Lengthen your tent ropes And make your pegs (stakes) firm [in the ground]."

Thanks for all the welcomes everybody. God bless.
