Hello from Massillon Ohio

My name is LC Duplatt and I thought it would be fun to join this forum and discuss "truth" which I believe can only be found within. 

As a former elder, teacher, preacher and student of the bible, I am so happy to be free from religion.  For over a decade, I have been listening within for nuggets of truth. These nuggets helped me to be set free from traditional fundamentalism.  It's been quite a journey that began when I was about 15 years old (through fear).  I entered head-deep into religion by 1986, but eventually walked away as I was led to do so by the spirit in 1997.  That gave me ten years of study under fundamentalism and ten years of having it undone in me by spirit.  Now 44 years old, I am working on a book about all this to help others.

I look forward to reading what everyone else here has to post - enough about me.  :bigGrin:

Hello LC,

One thing I have found interesting and it is just a point of interest rather than any solid evidence that is scriptural.

Most people talk about the path to universalism as a belief in truth of our Lord and Savior as being a journey. 

Most in traditional religion seem to be trying to find out where when and how to start the journey.   :laughing7:


Isn't it interesting that when we discover truth such as this, we see that we were already going.   :icon_king:
