Pastor Mark

Hi My name is Mark and I am a Universalist as of about a year and a half ago. Ive been in full time pastoral ministry about 30 years in full gospel/charismatic type settings.

I so appreciate the Tentmaker website and the lifes work of the dearly departed brother Amirault.

I hope to share my thoughts and explorations of scriptural concepts here. I cant promise you will agree with all of my theories as I am constantly stretching and challenging the boundaries of orthodoxy and tradition, but I am willing to hear others and learn.

Thank you for being here.
Pastor Mark is just a name not an attempt to project rank or status. You probably know the bible better than I do.

Hi Mark.  Thank you for your kind remarks for Gary and the site.

Based on your "set-up" re: your theories, please take a moment and read the forum guidelines and posting expectations at the very top of the home page.  It may come in handy.  :)

Thanks.

Socrates taught Plato.  Plato taught Aristotle.  Aristotle tutored the son of Philip of Macedon.  This boy grew up to become Alexander the Great, largely by slaughtering a lot of people.  That's philosophy.

Jesus spoke the Truth.  He blessed the poor.  He healed the sick.  He even raised the dead.  He died on a cross for us, lived again, and came back long enough to tell us to love one another.  That's religion.
