My name is Mark, born in England, currently living in the south of Kansas!

About 6 months ago I was apart from my family waiting for a visa... it was tough. From my life journal: "I was looking at the picture of my 4 young children on my computer and their sweet faces smiling back at me. I was thinking about them and wondering, is it really possible that one or more of them could be in eternal torment one day?! I couldn't even smile any more. How can God be happy with this?: That most of humanity is going to eternal torment? This is the worst news possible! I was praying and asking God to help me understand. Then I was looking at God's character and that He calls us to love our enemies the same way He does. I couldn't understand how both of those could be true that he loves his enemies and yet some go to eternal torment. God opened my eyes to show me that He is the Saviour of ALL people! The gospel really is good news! Eternal torment is a lie, a translation issue! Hallelujah!"

I found the tentmaker website the day I was asking God about this ET issue. Isn't it amazing how you can read all those scriptures about God saving all people and totally miss the point about UR? Because we read them through an ET filter I guess.

I used to make my own witnessing tracts and on one side I would have the BAD NEWS about hell & eternal torment on a background of flames, and on the other side the GOOD NEWS. I never really had peace when giving them out...

i WAS JUSt wondering how God revealed universal salvation to you. I'm always interested in hearing how sincere Christians come to this conclusion especially if it is by supernatural means.

Hello! :hiya: The future is indeed bright!! And the light shines brighter and brighter unto the Day.. Or that is, the truth! Which is how He is perfect! And perfect cannot lose anything! And can make no mistake(s)!

I found God in the Rocky Mountains, and tried churches w/o much 'luck'.. Could not make myself believe the "glad tidings to all" would turn out to be eternal torment for most.. And I didn't like what I felt was pressure (intended or not intended) to 'conform'/put on my best phony behavior. :doh: :eek:

Welcome to the tent and tent forums! "Life is good!" ...because God is life! (Life, and perfection, which to me, was a big clue to the Truth about life as we presently know it..)
