God is REAL!!!

Hello everyone!  I go by the name of ProgressiveDisciple, because i believe that the knowledge that God hands down to man, is progressive!  I also believe that when it comes down to the Word of God, it is truth, however, it is only " the foundation " of  all Godly knowledge and not, the sum total of it!  For what God teaches us through his Spirit, our life experiences and those of our fellow believers in Christ, continues to educate. refine and cleanse us so that we can become better ambassadors of His coming Kingdom!  What i know of God now, compared to what i knew about him when i became a christian at the age of just 17 years old, is fascinating!   I often caution people to be very careful of what they are praying for, because you really never fully understand what you may have to go through to attain it!  At 18 years, i was a sermon away from becoming an ordained baptist minister, until weeks prior to me giving that sermon, i asked God to teach me truth as he knows truth!  years later, im not a minister!

I really wonder how many will follow the truth if it's revealed so briefly before becoming a minister.

A lot of Christians do tend to think they know it all and you'll never see them asking a question on a forum to any others because they are too full of pride to ask and want others to think they know it all,  but it's certainly a mistake.  Were always learning.
