What is your mission statement in life/motto?
I believe this is mine (the short version)

To be apart of a people that takes the church (the body of Christ) from where it is, to, where it should be.

My mission is to go to that happy place (or state of being)........and to take everyone with me. :cloud9:

My Mission Statement:

The Christian Church has been commissioned as ambassadors of Jesus Christ not to correct and lay the foundation of the Law on the world, but rather reveal the salvation of the world through the message of reconciliation in their Savior Jesus Christ (John 3:15-18) who has delivered us from the curse of the Law and brought us into His wonderful Grace. The foundation of our Savior Jesus Christ has already been laid and the role of the Church is to help direct and teach how to build on that foundation, by not just be living in the Spirit but walking after it (1 Corinthians 3:6-15; Romans 8:1-3). Based on commandments of Christ and the example set forth by His apostles (1 Corinthians 3:6-15 and 1 John 4).

Short Version:
Building on the Foundation of Jesus Christ: If your knowledge, wisdom and understanding are poor, what you build will be of same quality. If your knowledge, wisdom and understanding are great, what you build will be of same quality.

To help set the captives FREE

Isaiah 61

The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;

To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;

Good one too Loveroftruth   :thumbsup:

My mission statement is a combination of a few that have already been touched upon. To know what is the good, acceptable perfect will of God--then to expound on the love of God in the presence of others. Starting out small and increasing, to grasp the depth of his love in wisdom, and deliver it to the world in love.

Amen that is so ingrained in my heart that I could never think of a better "mission statement." I have taken it as my own, knowing it was there, even before I even thought to capsulate it with scripture.

We will never be complete until the last soul is healed and finds it rest in the Father bosom.

Thanks LoT and I know you won't mind sharing that mission and the statement that describes it.  :HeartThrob:

It's very simple for me. "Love ALL, worship ONE."

This is definetly how I feel.  :bigGrin:

So many wonderful replies!!!

   I don't think I have a mission, if I were to state one, it would be " To try to live my Life as He would have me live, and to strive to seek out His will for me".

Of course, I have to say TRY, since I am definitely fallible.

2Cr 5:19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.  :bgdance:

2Cr 5:20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech [you] by us: we pray [you] in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.   :boydance: :Yesss:
