This guy thinks the wicked are burnt up (not the sin, but the actual sinner).

What is the universalism response?

Lazarus Short

If the wicked are burnt up:

Then Jesus cannot be the Savior, even though the Bible says He is.  He is either the Savior of all men, or He isn't.

Then Death and Hell [grave, actually] are NOT defeated, even though the Bible says they are the last enemies to be defeated.

Then God cannot become All in all, if some are burnt up.  All means all or it doesn't.

Seems to me that Universalism makes a better overall interpretation of ALL Bible verses than Eternal Torture or Eternal Destruction, not relying on a handful of "proof texts."  Universalism can better explain the ET/ED verses than ET or ED can explain the Universal Salvation verses.
Socrates taught Plato.  Plato taught Aristotle.  Aristotle tutored the son of Philip of Macedon.  This boy grew up to become Alexander the Great, largely by slaughtering a lot of people.  That's philosophy.

Jesus spoke the Truth.  He blessed the poor.  He healed the sick.  He even raised the dead.  He died on a cross for us, lived again, and came back long enough to tell us to love one another.  That's religion.

YHVH = Behold the Nail, Behold the Hand = Jesus

The guy thinks it, but that doesn't mean I do. One of the big confusions that I see happening across Christianity is between the two Biblical applications of the word "death." In the Bible, death can signify either physical death or metaphysical death (to be carnally minded is death.)

What I believe is that Gehenna signifies that last one, death in sin. I have more information here: http://mercifultruth.com/links-savedbygrace.html

Because of His great love,ye sons of men are not consumed............

what is consumed?  all the power of the enemy of the salvation of our souls....

the last enemy being death.  Our God is a consuming fire......

sos for love is as strong as death..it's jealousy like a mighty flame........

all is HIS, He shall be all in all....and pity anything that stands in His way.......

no weapon formed against you shall suceed...........I am convinced there is nothing

that can seperate us from the LOVE OF GOD IN JESUS CHRIST
