mystērion = mystery

Our Father dwells in mystery. All things encompassing Him must be disclosed. In all passages of Canon, the Kingdom of God, out of death awakenings, and that which is spoken out of Him, is clothed in mystērion glimpses of His disclosure. Yes, everything begins within Him!

mystērion = mystery =

Secret hidden thing.

Hidden purpose and counsel (not obvious to the understanding.)

Confided ONLY to the initiated NOT ordinary mortals.

"For He pre-destined us to be adopted by Himself as sons through Jesus Christ--such being His gracious will and pleasure-- to the praise of the splendour of His grace with which He has enriched us in the beloved One. It is in Him, and through the shedding of His blood, that we have our deliverance--the forgiveness of our offences--so abundant was God's grace, the grace which He, the possessor of all wisdom and understanding, lavished upon us, when He made known to us the secret of His will. And this is in harmony with God's merciful purpose for the government of the world when the times are ripe for it--the purpose which He has cherished in His own mind of restoring the whole creation to find its one Head in Christ; yes, things in Heaven and things on earth, to find their one Head in Him. And you..." Eph. 1
Are our broadest hopes broad enough? Shall there be a nook or abyss, in all the universe of God, finally unlightened by the Cross? Shall there be a sin, or sorrow, or pain unhealed? Is the very universe, is creation in all its extent, a field wide enough for the Son of God?

Worthy! Take the scroll, open its seals.

Slain! Paying in blood, you bought men and women, bought them back from all over the earth, bought them back for God. Then you made them a Kingdom, Priests for our God, Priest-kings to rule over the earth. I looked again. I heard a company of angels around the Throne, the Animals, and the Elders ten thousand times ten thousand their number, thousand after thousand after thousand in full song:

The slain Lamb is worthy! Take the power, the wealth, the wisdom, the strength! Take the honor, the glory, the blessing!

Then I heard every creature in Heaven and earth, in underworld and sea, join in, all voices in all places, singing:

To the One on the Throne! To the Lamb! The blessing, the honor, the glory, the strength, for age after age after age.

The Four Animals called out,

Oh, Yes!

The Elders fell to their knees and worshipped." ~MSG

Indeed the mystery is a key factor about life and who grasps that significant plan ahead of the others.
Joseph went ahead into Egypt.
Jesus went ahead into the next age.
The ecclesia go ahead of the rest of mankind.
Then ALL the rest enter, with the correction process running smoothly according to that plan.

Paul talks about that mystery/sacred secret, quite a lot.
Emphasised by Jesus that you never perceive the kingdom of God until being born again.
Awesome to those who know,  not so awesome to those who's hearts have been hardened by God for a specific time and reason.

Col 2:2,3  " In order that their hearts may be encouraged,  being knit together in love, even to all the riches of the full assurance of their understanding,  to a personal knowledge of the sacred secret of God- Christ: in Whom are all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge hidden away. "

Hi there Ross. Being born anew is the awesome in-road of our Father. As in all things, that Road begins in Him, ultimately ending within His vast Being.

This experience comes NOT as a result of the flesh, and NOT of the will of man. "Flesh births flesh, Spirit gives birth to spirit", or as the NIT translates, "humans can produce human life, the Holy Spirit gives birth to spiritual life."

TPT = "For the natural realm only gives birth to things that are natural, but the spiritual realm gives birth to supernatural life."

MSG = "You're not listening, let Me say it again. Unless a person submits to the original creation- the wind hovering-over- the water creation, the invisible moving the visible, a baptism into new life- it's not possible to enter God's kingdom."
