QuoteThe first revelation was that to interpret Daniel 9:24-27 to mean that the seven weeks are weeks of Jubilees:
QuoteThe second revelation was that the reference to "restore and to rebuild Jerusalem" in Daniel 9:25 refers to the "spiritual repentance" of Israel based on Joel 2:12-18, as well as the physical rebuilding of Jerusalem. This is consistent with God's heart as expressed in Scripture. It was from the spiritual restoration of Jerusalem found in Joel 2:12-18 that we were to begin counting to determine the two comings of the Messiah.
QuoteAccording to the Jubilee Hypothesis, the Messiah Yeshua will return in a Jubilee Year, on the Fall Feast of Trumpets (Hebrew Yom T'ruah, also called Rosh Hashanah) in the year 2027
Quote1. The "sixty two periods of seven" of Daniel 9:25:b measures to the first coming of Yeshua.

2. The "seven periods of seven" of Daniel 9:25a measures to the second coming of Yeshua, In Jubilee years.

3. The "one period of seven" of Daniel 9:27 measures the Time of Jacob's Trouble, commonly known as the Tribulation (the 70th period of seven of Daniel's prophecy) and is concurrent with the last seven years of the "seven periods of seven" period just prior to Yeshua's second coming.

Seeing God likes numbers and special meanings of feast the above could be true IMO.
The main problem I see with such an accurate prediction is when exactly you start counting?
Anyway, personally i would expect Yom Kippur/Attonment Day because that's also the day/feast Jesus was born.

Thoughts? Comments?

Bit strange because on amazon they cost between $3 and $14 each.
1 Timothy 2:3-4  ...God our Savior;  Who will have all men to be saved...
John 12:47  And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.
Romans 4:5 But to the one who does not work, but believes in the one who declares the ungodly righteous ...

Doc

The trouble with these kinds of predictions is that they all forget one thing: No man knows the 'day or hour'. Only the Father knows, which implies that we can't 'figure it out' either.

Personally I don't bother reading any end times hype for free let alone pay good money.

I'd actually rather light the cash on fire and watch it burn, the entertainment value is higher.

Being a dimensionalist . . . I find myself leaning towards many of the preterist perspectives . . just not all of them.  But also, keeping in mind that even though one area is emphasized (for me that would be the spiritual aspects) this is not to say that the other areas don't have relevance . . .just not as much.

I do believe there was a specific reason why each of the Jewish holidays God originally established, were set on the days they were set on.  Jesus was crucified on the passover, buried on the feast of unleavened bread, resurrected on feast of first fruits . . .and returned in the Spirit in the upper room on the day of Pentecost . . .

Christ fulfilled these holy days . . .what would make us think he won't fill all of them when all things are said and done?

Don't forget born on Day of atonement.
And start of ministry on Sukkot.
And most likely more days I don't know about.
So indeed, it's almost a certainty He returns on some sort of holiday.

As for the exact year... well the view presented on the site is not that strange.
But the count of Jubilies could just as well start at another date.
Birth, ministry or death.
For me such 'studies' are always effective. Not because I do or don't have a valid date but the research widens my horizon. And that never does any harm. Perhaps even the most well versed reader can find a little gem.

BTW the maps with the layout of the Temple and city are nice too.

Greetings cgaviria  ,

I am never certain of setting dates for anything    brother ,
But I know that all the examples made in Gods Word always hold  a  truth  and many   have stumbled over that truth in the vast  course of time and place  being made examples themselves .

I read some of what you have shared and do see some very spiritual truths in  them  , but as far as setting a literal date
just as WW said  , when this happens  is a guess at best .

From my own understanding    that is very limited    , I see God working in us all  ,  as individuals   and one by one  , making it impossible to   judge    certain things   that only God does reveal  when it is in His timing and  very  perfect purpose .

7   being a cardinal number  being  ''complete ''  in sets . The number of distinct elements in a finite set is called its cardinal number.
Knowing Gods Word is a two edged Sword / Word  makes for a  very interesting study   of its self  in the tree of knowledge of good and evil  .
That the good that makes perfect   with no end in Christ , as the evil is cut off with an end in Christ

The depths of Gods wisdom is unimaginable  and past finding it all out ! wow makes me think of Romans 11    .

Jesus is the reward  !!

I agree WW. Such investigations are stimulating and interesting, but never seem to result in a concrete answer. And that is what God may want.  :dontknow:

That web site http://www.returntogod.com/ is very comprehensive and would take a very long time to read a lot of it.  :declare:

amen.. always interesting..

yet Daniel 12:11,12 I find to be simplicity itself - the 1,290 and the 1,335, which is 45 additional days after the 1,290 - now i know it's popular to always equate how a hundred years are like a day to the LORD.. or a day for a year theory.. but this verse (12) says "happy the one who waits and comes to day 1,335.. and I can't help thinking when I read it, that it is hard for an individual to wait and come to 1,335 years.. or if it is the 45 days the verse is referring to -which I believe it is.. 45 years, not impossible, but still.. rather unlikely, imo that is.

p.s. - I do think it likely Jesus returns upon the last trumpet.. (with the previous trumpets, being 'last days' - the seals progressing over the entire age of the years of our Lord a.d.)

  Amen  sista  Marie !!,

It is   so hard to tell    just what the bible means  , unless you have the mind of Christ   whom knows everything    of the heavens and earth  and even below   and making it all new .

There are so many hidden things of God  yet to learn of .

I have read  we are to be patient  and wait on the Lord , now that is hard for children to do!!!!

I know this child  struggles  with patience !!   :laughing7:

I do believe  many times it is  to be   literally taken , as the best we can do  and the Lord Himself will sort it all out  for you .

We get too anxious  for things to happen , and like little children run to it , and  fall down and hurt ourselves  .

Remember  John was told not to seal the book   , Like Daniel was  told to do  as these would not come for many days .

and John spoke of last hour , not days      warning of the anti- Christ as Jesus did also .

1 John 2  17The world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God remains forever.

18Children, it is the last hour; and just as you have heard that the antichrist is coming,

so now many antichrists have appeared. :sigh:

This is how we know it is the last hour.

19They went out from us, but they did not belong to us.

For if they had belonged to us, they would have remained with us.

But their departure made it clear that none of them belonged to us....

This   scripture   can be interpreted   in  many ways , but many ways  , are not  always  the right way  to think .

I think so many are looking for Jesus but do not know what to expect when they do actually see Him .

Just like when you  read Jesus  tasted death for every man and yet , Jesus tells   some they wont taste death till they do see Him

Lots to consider   when we consider the Lord !

love you sis  :HeartThrob:
Jesus is the reward  !!
