Some of you are aware of my on going drama of speaking out about UR after 20 years of being employed (as music director) in a very loving but also very ET believing 'church'.
Well, here's an update guys.
I am out of work as of March 31st  but it's for health reasons rather than for doctrinal reasons. I really under estimated my pastor, as he did not fire me over this as presumed but just said that he 'does not see what I see' about these things. Since I won't be in leadership anymore he has chosen not to make my UR stand a public issue and promised me to study out all the things I told him
There is a benefit to have many years of living life in one town with much evidence of God's grace. It makes it very difficult for what I am saying to be easily dismissed by those who know me well. I don't know what all the fallout will be, but I'm happy to report that people are listening and there is a bit of a buzz starting to arise about "Byron getting all riled up" because of God's true nature being mis-represented by the church.
For my part I must say that it feels great to be out of the closet and laying it on the line.

Byron, my prayers are with you. May God bless and keep you.

God said, "my word shall not return to me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it".

There was a reason for you being in that Church and the things you have said, God will use in his own time.

:cloud9: Byron, speaking as one who is going thru the same thing right now, I can't emphasize this enough........PRAISE HIM EVERY DAY AND DO NOT LOOK AT YOUR CIRCUMSTANCES. There is a reason for it, which shall be revealed in a short season. Blessings to you and may your faith be strengthened this day.  :HeartThrob:
"I would rather train twenty men to pray, than a thousand to preach; A minister's highest mission ought to be to teach his people to pray." -H. MacGregor

Byron,

I pass on my greatest treasure which has met my needs for many a year. Such as I have give I unto you.

2Co 9:8  And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:

Blessings,

John
