Repentance and Sin No More, Perfection and Born of the Spirit

This study goes over why it is necessary to stop sinning, which is what "repent" actually means, what the circumcision of the heart is, what the baptism of the holy spirit causes, and the purpose of the first coming of Jesus Christ to not only atone for sin, but to end it. I.M.O while we are still in the flesh we will still sin.
However, the sin will lessen, just will not be totally removed no matter what;

HOWEVER- the spirit is perfect;
1 John 3;9 " No one born of God practices sin because His seed lives in him.
                    He cannot sin because he is born of God."

Paul goes on about this in Romans 7; then he states the reality of the salvation;
       "THERE IS NO CONDEMNATION TO THOSE IN CHRIST JESUS."

In Galations 5 he emphasises the struggle of flesh versus spirit.
Then in Ephesians he explains what this is all about.

Here at the tent, it's pretty well believed that Jesus "will subdue all things" - the carnal character will be no more.. :banana: :banana:

Yet like Paul said, "not as though we are already perfected.." "At His return" is when "we shall put on incorruptibility and immortality" ..and perfection.. Fruit of the Spirit is gentleness.. humility.. etc. ("& Love, against such there is no law")

"Draw near to God and He will draw near to you".. "Be being filled with the Holy Spirit!"

"God is love" so "be filled with the Holy Spirit" ..."Love is the fulfilling of the law" for, as we know, "Love works no evil" ...is not puffed up.. does not boast.. is patient, kind.. humble..

Yes, if we will LOVE God.. we will draw near to Him.. this is the POWER that transforms and keeps transforming.. The POWER that works. :cloud9:

"many will come in His name and deceive.. leading astray" but we are to "abide in Him" and "abide in His Word"/Logos/Logic... Truth. His Word is glorious! His Spirit is everything..! :cloud9:

What is impossible with man is possible with God   

  God changes our minds and hearts  by the Holy Spirit convicting us of sin nature  !!

  We begin to trust in God for every  need when we stay in His Word of life  :HeartThrob:

  Going from sin conscientiousness to   GOD conscientiousness  , awake and always aware  of Gods presence in our lives 

   and doing the perfect works  that only God can do !!

   We live by faith not by sight  waiting on the Lord  to come   , till we SEE HIM as He is and desire to be just like Him ....

The pure  LOVE of God  is the answer for the problem of evil  :HeartThrob:



and hope does not make ashamed, because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit which has been given to us  ,

the Light comes  to swallow up the darkness   , till the darkness has no place to hide  and is no more ....
