Please pray for my Dad...I seen the joy of accepting CU in him and it was beautiful...but now he is slipping back into confusion. It breaks my heart...becuase I know the joy, the peace that passes all understanding I have felt the love of God like never before and I know I would die for His good name if thats what He wills.
Thank you and God bless

It is often a process Caffus. Don't lose hope, it's only a matter of time. All of our salvation is as sure as... well as He told me once, "Your salvation is as sure as I Am." :)  :HeartThrob:

...this often happens Caffus..because people do not rightly divide  with the word of the spirit.  there is the righteous gift/grace

side on one side of the coin..and the judgement/destruction  on the other side of the coin[talent] His image in it .

be sure and see your father gets the texts that rightly divide this.  and be sure that he knows just who 'the wicked one' is that is

destroyed and all are delivered from[evil one]   :HeartThrob:

Psalm91:4

Hi Caffus,

I agree that It is, most-times, a process.  All you really need to do at this point is just stay steady, and be ready with an answer whenever your dad may ask about the great hope that is in you.

It is rather shocking good news upon first hearing it and that word takes a lil bit of time to really sink down deep into whatever soil is present.  But it does get in there!  And then people may think of a troublesome question, while they`re trying to shake off the graveclothes of orthodox religion, and approach you with it.

It took six months of me living with my roommate before she was telling our newest roommate that now she thinks Universal Reconciliation is the truth.  We had the best bible study together the other night about the lake of fire ( that was her main question )  and once she dug deep into the word like that......wow!!  She kept sayin....wait, stop, I gotta let this sink in.  And the joy was evident.

But like I said, took six months. And the Lord just told me all along to walk steady in whatever was presenting because He was at work.  I know we would all luv instant results but waiting on the Lord and His timing and Spirit to water is really all we can do once that seed is planted.  God gives the increase at the proper time.  It`s thrilling just to be a small part of it all.    :)

Your dad will see the luv and joy in you.  You are salty now so he will start to feel a lil thirsty!   :dsunny:

I'm praying. Try not to worry about your dad. When I was a Catholic kid, I was worried about my Methodist mom going to hell because that's what the crazy Catholics told me. Then, when I tried being a Protestant for awhile, I was worried about my whole family going to hell because my dad had convinced my mom to convert, and the crazy Protestants told me they were all going to hell. Now I know it's all baloney. My 90 year old dad is still a die hard Catholic, but he knows what I believe and why. My mom and handicapped sister are gone, but I've got a brother and sister, when she's in town, who take my dad to church. I just let him watch it on TV when they're not around. I've got another brother out West who is I guess what you'd call an Evangelical Christian now, and I've told him what I learned about universal reconciliation. He prefers his King James trip though. I don't worry about any of them anymore. I just share the truth with them when there's an opportunity and let them think about it. I consider Catholics and Protestants to be fellow believers who just don't fully understand the evangel because they've been programmed with corrupt doctrine. I think reading church history is enough to make you want to quit going to church even if you don't know about universal reconciliation, but I don't think we're supposed to worry about our loved ones who don't believe it. I think just sharing the truth with them in the spirit of God's love is the best thing we can do. I agree that we should just plant the seed, and let God make it grow according to his will in his own time.

Yes I know..it was a long process for me to..my greatest stumbling block..the fear God sending me to eternal Hell...for believing the doctrine of ET is a lie from Satan...but now I know if I love my nieghbor as myself...and one ends up in eternal misery with no hope of escape there could be no heaven for me anyway. My brother introduced me to UR and I read Love wins...liked it..but it didn't sink in..until I found this site. After searching with my whole heart even asking for prayer from ET believers for a greater understanding of Gods truth.  My brothers wife is Baptist and she is hurting a lot from her doctrine and the tensions it's cuasing in thier relationship. They also need prayer.
Thank you

Nobody told me about it. I got mysteriously bounced from a die hard King James site one day to another site with information about it. I thought it had to be bogus because I never heard about it before, but, after reading a lot of information about it online from a lot of different sources actually trying to find something about it that didn't add up, I finally became convinced that it had to be true. I think the spirit of God reveals it to us all differently, and it's always an amazing story to hear when anybody tells about their own personal revelation. Just speak the truth to them, and back it up with an accurate translation of scripture. God will cause them to know the truth eventually.

Yes..my sister in law and I were debating on FB..she posted the verses about the wide road to destruction and the norrow road to life...and she said its very clear only a few will be saved.  I always had trouble with that and I believe the Holy Spirit told me to say..Many believe in destruction, but few believe in life..and veres 30 says some will be First and some will be last...and it hit her...So im just praying now  :HeartThrob:
