The heaven, even the heavens, are the LORD'S: but the earth hath he given to the children of men.

De 2:5 - 
Meddle not with them; for I will not give "you" of their land, no, not so much as a foot breadth; because I have given mount Seir unto Esau for a possession.

But..........who is Cyrus?

2Ch 36:23 -
Thus saith Cyrus king of Persia, All the kingdoms of the earth hath the LORD God of heaven given me; and he hath charged me to build him an house in Jerusalem, which is in Judah. Who is there among you of all his people? The LORD his God be with him, and let him go up.

Ezr 1:2 -
Thus saith Cyrus king of Persia, The LORD God of heaven hath given me all the kingdoms of the earth; and he hath charged me to build him an house at Jerusalem, which is in Judah.
   
But a rumor was heard by Obadiah about how ESAU "would" be destroyed, til there was none.........the whole book of Obadiah is about this.  Esau is "given" to the Spirit........

Isa 10:17 - And the light of Israel shall be for a fire, and "his Holy One" for a flame: and it shall burn and devour his thorns and his briers in one day;

Ob 1:18 -
And the house of Jacob shall be a fire, and the house of Joseph a flame, and the house of Esau for stubble, and they shall kindle in them, and devour them; and there shall not be any remaining of the house of Esau; for the LORD hath spoken it.

What a wonderful "deliverance" God has promised us in Obadiah, for
in Mt. Zion, there shall be "deliverance."
