The evils of fracking

Micah, I don't see any place to defend fracking. IMO it is stealing from God as men do in so many ways, not to mention what we do to ourselves.

Not much wonder there are so many earthquakes and Volcanos erupting.

And all the dry, dry lands, overwhelming flooding and solar flares etc. and endless murders are all man's doing? Now I can see and understand murders.

Okay, I get it the Lord lost control when fracking started and now.......

Fracking is only one example. Man has been drilling for oil for decades. God put that oil there for a purpose. Perhaps it was there as a lubricant (I'm speculating) for those gigantic tectonic plates to move more freely? Then there are the nuclear power plants (esp Fukushima and Chernobyl)we know that story.

Now they have HAARP so man can mess around with the Ionosphere and change weather patterns.

There are a zillion more examples of these sort of things. I am jealous for God's creation and so is HE.

EVERYTHING!

I came across this small essay on my Facebook page, and since it was not in my Document file, I did a little facelift, and deposited it.  It seems relevant to me:

A THOUGHT FROM THE WATCHES OF THE NIGHT

How does God deal with evil/wicked people?
Eternal torture in Hellfire?
Eternal destruction?
Eventual complete restoration?

We know without a doubt that God the Son (Jesus the Christ) came, teaching us to overcome evil with good.
Jesus stated that He acted and preached as His Father instructed Him to do.
So, if Jesus taught to overcome evil with good, He must have gotten that from His Father - therefore it is God's teaching.
Wait, does God not follow His Own teaching?
Yes, He does, so God must overcome evil with good in His own dealings with men.
But wait, after the Judgment, the evil and wicked are thrown into the Lake of Fire, right? What's up with that?
Overcome evil with good...so it must be a good thing.
So it can't be a fire of Eternal Torture.
Neither can it be a fire of Eternal Destruction.
God describes Himself as a cleansing, refining fire several times in the Bible.
Is the Lake of Fire therefore a cleansing, refining fire?
Yes, it must be so.
The Lake of Fire cleanses people of evil,  and refines them from wickedness.
Goodbye wood, hay, and stubble!
After cleansing and refining, people can enter the City of God thru the gates which are never closed.
When all have entered, God can be All in all, and eternity begins...

I am sure that the posters all know that there is two sides to most coins, that there is a good and bad in just about all things. It is a sorry and pitiful thing that harm has come from fracking, but fracking as well has it's good points.

Okay let's discuss, but then it should be in a political vein. Fracking causes jobs, much needed in 2014 and what proof(without a pro side offered) do you have for fracking? As I said I am sorry for the situation with Laz an Carlsbad, but there are other places that fracking has benefited. You wanna talk politics, I shudder and shrug, but I'm game.

Sad, that they see God as less than all-powerful, though they would sputter and insist that yes, He is.  An all-powerful God would get the job done, but the God of the ETs seems to have limited ability, due to His respect for a greater god, human Free Will, which He dare not violate.  Given limited ability, and combined with His zero-tolerance quality control, most of humanity is consigned to Hell.

As you were listing things that have come upon us, I thought of sink holes. Man will be caught in his craftiness. It is in the mail. Men's opinions of things sure change when a tsunami rolls in, taking all he holds dear.

Fukushima radiation is polluting the entire Pacific, killing the sea life ( I wonder how many jobs the fishing industry has lost?) lets create some more plutonium  and then they build more nuclear power stations. Hey, lets drill more, let's do some fracking, . This sort of thinking and behaviour is INSANITY!

...funny how the atomic bombs in 1945 over Hiroshima and Nagasaki, and how that area of the globe has so many earthquakes and tsunamis which of course result from earthquakes (way to go mankind! for splitting the atom!!!!)

Mankind does all things wrong (in this life of all things wrong, haha) but I have to think oil was created for use.. but of course man does all things wrong and to the extreme.. we've made His house a house of merchandise..

but the split atom, that's gotta be pretty high on the list of wrong things!! and is why (imo) it's described as causing an earthquake (of course the seals are told as a blend of {1} what they are at their begin-ning and {2} what they are at the-'end' that's why tho there was no earthquake that day in 1945, there still was earthquake (along with a great spiritual earthquake one of the major changes of modern life.. ((Rev 6:12-17 & 13:13))
