There is the assertion that Jesus said more about Hell than anything else.  I suppose some televangelist said it, and followers repeated it without checking.  Well, it sounds absurd on the face of it, but it might fly with people who do not read their Bibles.  Well I have a hand counter and a Strong's Concordance, so I started counting the red lines for "Heaven," "Heavenly," "Heaven's" and "Heavens."  I found a total of 104 mentions by Jesus.  Now for "Hell," I found 16, so the assertion above is a total fail, just comparing Hell with Heaven, and not even bringing in all else that He said on other subjects.
Socrates taught Plato.  Plato taught Aristotle.  Aristotle tutored the son of Philip of Macedon.  This boy grew up to become Alexander the Great, largely by slaughtering a lot of people.  That's philosophy.

Jesus spoke the Truth.  He blessed the poor.  He healed the sick.  He even raised the dead.  He died on a cross for us, lived again, and came back long enough to tell us to love one another.  That's religion.

Aha! How true Lazarus! Thanks for that info, it's going to come in very handy I'm sure! And as we know too, out of the 16.. :Chinscratch: how many different words were translated as 'hell'?!

104 to 16, good to know!

And about 16 of those 16 are wrong translations  :flamebreath:
1 Timothy 2:3-4  ...God our Savior;  Who will have all men to be saved...
John 12:47  And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.
Romans 4:5 But to the one who does not work, but believes in the one who declares the ungodly righteous ...
