Anyone else see this movie? I found it on Netflix, and I watched it last night. I have to say at first I was worried it would be too touchy feely because they started out by talking about 9/11 and interviewed the Westboro people which I thought was unnecessary. But overall I thought they chose credible, knowledgeable people on the UR side to make the argument, and they let the other side explain their position, although there were a few wackos on the ET side. During the movie I was thinking that they could have gone into deeper detail on the scriptures, but they kind of said at the end that we shouldn't rush into the belief of UR if we aren't familiar with it, and we should search for those details ourselves and let God bring us to the truth.

On a side note, if you pause the theatrical trailer at 1:11, you will see my hometown. I was so surprised to see that when I watched the trailer, and I emailed the producer asking how they got that little bit of film. He said that the director of photography is from Cedarburg. I should try to get into contact with him.

I have met with Kevin Miller, he lives about 20 minutes away, nice enough of a guy but has a bit of angst against the church in general and is on mission.
I stopped fighting and leave it up to the spirit to move on people,I don't think he wanted to hear that and we left it at that....

So it's on Netflix?  I'll have to watch...thanks for the heads up!

EDIT:  My wife and I watched it, and I hand copied the three columns of ET/ED/UR verses.  I intend to study them, and an essay looking into which view best explains the other two groups of verses may be a result.  :sigh: :sigh: :Peace2:
Socrates taught Plato.  Plato taught Aristotle.  Aristotle tutored the son of Philip of Macedon.  This boy grew up to become Alexander the Great, largely by slaughtering a lot of people.  That's philosophy.

Jesus spoke the Truth.  He blessed the poor.  He healed the sick.  He even raised the dead.  He died on a cross for us, lived again, and came back long enough to tell us to love one another.  That's religion.
