when it mentions hell being prepared for satan and his angesls, what does it mean?  what transaltin of hell is this?

I'm enjoying reading the posts in this forum, it helps me to renew my mind (isn't it funny that that term is used so often to refer to brainwashing yourself to believe doctrines of men) either way it's great for me.

I like coming onto the forum every day, reading a few posts and then going my way. Just that little tidbit of remembering God's love helps me immenseley.

Matthew 25:41
"Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels"

There's the book,chapter and verse. It says eternal fire which has been interpreted by ET'ers and most everybody but us as "hell"
Young's literal has "age-during fire"

It may be the lake of fire but wasn't definite enough :dontknow:

Aionios is translated from "olam" which sometimes means "other world" or "beyond the veil"

The real meaning, imo, being in the neighborhood of, "the fire of the world/age to come", "the  corrective discipline of the world/age to come", and "the life of the world/age to come".

This is the world/age Peter speaks of whe he talks about the elements(stoicheon-foundations) being purged with intense heat(aionion/olam fire/kolassis imo) leaving behind a world "in which dwelleth righteousess"- a tabernacle of righteousness. This same Peter who said, that with the Lord, "a thousand years is as a day and a day as a thousand years" was spaeking of the fire that will burn over the course of the 1000 year "Day" during which the world will be covered with bot the word of God and the glory of God like water covers the sea- and at the end of which the world will have become "a tabernacle of righteousess- all the adversaries removed into "aionios pur/kolassis" until they perceive the love of God and bow their knee to the Lord of that Love who obtained His throne by sacrifice- and come into "the all in all", everyone. :2c:

...I'm thinking the purging fires are for the spirits which fell, not mankind, who has a 2nd resurrection, a loong day of the examination,Day of Judgment of all things, all human history etc.. and (only) then/or at the end of, will hear the notorious words, "those not believing, will go to the 2nd death, the LOF"/purging, cleansing fire. But who's not going to believe? after having been resurrected and witnessed a long (500 years) day (age) of judgment? Why do I say 500 years?? Because if the Spring Holy Days were prophesied and fulfilled by His 1st Advent, then surely His Loong 2nd Advent is prophesied by and will fulfill the Fall Holy Days, of Trumpets - (10 days/millennium/1000yrs later) Day of Atonement(surprise!) - (5 days, 1/2 a millennium, 500yrs later) - Tabernacles (when the very Throne of the Father will come to the new Earth and God will "Tabernacle" with man. [If 10 days represents the millennium, then the 5 days would represent a 1/2 millennium].

Nevertheless the Master says that some will go into that LOF, whatever one considers it to be.  :o)
