St. Paul declares, that Christ came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh.? (Eph. 2:17).

He could not have preached peace had he preached endless woe in hell!

As a faithful minister of the glorious Gospel, the word hell is not found in any of his epistles!

Can this omission be accounted on the supposition that he believed there was a place bearing that name in eternity, to which all are exposed?

"I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God.? (Acts 20:27).

An endless hell, then, can be no part of God's counsel.

"No chastening for the present seems to be joyous, but grievous; nevertheless, afterward, it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them that are exercised thereby. (Heb. 12:11)

This language shows that the punishment of God is limited;  if it is endless there can be no afterward, as the apostle declares.
Are our broadest hopes broad enough? Shall there be a nook or abyss, in all the universe of God, finally unlightened by the Cross? Shall there be a sin, or sorrow, or pain unhealed? Is the very universe, is creation in all its extent, a field wide enough for the Son of God?

Amen!

My favorite verses clarifying is how the Lord said - all those in the tombs (graves) will hear His voice and will come forth (from the graves/tombs) ..some in the resurrection of life, and some in the resurrection of judgment - (Jn.5:28-29). Which is - after the thousand years-Rev.20:5.
And he saidalso, Matthew 25:46 - these will go away into aionian-kolasis AGELASTING-CORRECTION (translated, everlasting punishment) but the righteous into aionian life - (the millennium).
