I was looking through the threads, and found an older thread that looked interesting on this subject.  A brother or sister had watched an evil pro-hell video, and was disturbed, depressed, and left in doubt.  Since the thread was old, I decided to start a new one.

HELL IS NOT REAL!

SO NO MATTER WHAT YOU SEE OR HEAR, DON'T LET THAT EVIL DOCTRINE GET TO YOU!  DON'T BE TORTURED BY SOMETHING THAT DOES NOT EVEN EXIST!

First of all, it's easy to see why one would get depressed and discouraged after entertaining such a dark, evil doctrine.  I would be too.  The concept of hell is so evil, and anyone should be strongly effected by the darkness and horrors thereof.  But, not to worry!  HELL IS A LIE!  HELL IS A MYTH!  HELL IS A PAGAN CONCEPT!  HELL IS NOT SCRIPTURAL.

Second, the fact that hell is a lie can easily be supported by the fact that the best scripture manuscripts we have DO NOT MENTION ANYTHING CALLED "HELL" from start to finish.  That's a pretty good indication that it was never in the scriptures as originally penned.  Why believe in anything that was not in the scriptures as originally penned?  You may as well believe in Santa and the Easter bunny, as to believe in hell.  It simply was not in the scriptures as originally penned.  The only thing that even came close is the "lake of fire," mentioned only in the Revelation (the most figurative book in the scriptures), and is a FIGURATIVE term (not literally a lake of fire, but rather, a place of the Spirit's teaching of righteousness and purification, which will ultimately lead to salvation).

Third, if Father has enlightened you to the fact that there is no hell, why go back to that darkness, once you've seen the truth. TRUST WHAT YOU KNOW IS TRUTH, TRUST WHOM YOU KNOW IS TRUTH.  THERE IS NO HELL!  IT DOES NOT EXIST, NEVER DID, NEVER WILL, AND NO ONE IS EVER GOING TO GO THERE BECAUSE IT IS A MYTH BORROWED FROM PAGANS!  The doctrine of hell and eternal punishment is a very evil doctrine designed by Satan to dump a heavy burden on you, and as all we here know, it works very well to fulfill it's purpose if you let it.  So don't let Satan fool you.  He's a liar!

Fourth, even the apostle Paul never mentioned hell in any of his writings.  If hell existed, then why didn't the greatest evangelist who ever lived ever mention it?  Would that not be a rather large oversight?  He never mentioned hell because he had never conceived of such an evil notion.  Hell entered Christian teaching AFTER Paul's time, even though Paul tried his best to keep his churches from adding pagan beliefs (lies) to his teachings of truth.  I believe that mixture of truth and lies is referred to in the Old Testament as "food mixed with dung."  When you eat food, do you want it to be mixed with manure?  No thank you.  I like my food like I like my truth - PURE.

Fifth, Jesus never mentioned hell to anyone in any of the scriptures.  Now if hell were real, then would that not be the biggest omission of all time?  If Jesus didn't mention hell, then who would?  This fact alone should be enough to put down the lies of hell doctrine.  The only thing that even comes close is His mention in Matthew about certain people being in danger of the "Gehenna of fire," which is obviously a figurative term (not literal), since Gehenna is a geographic location you can visit today, just outside the historic, old Jerusalem.  It's a long story I won't go into at this time, but Gehenna definitely IS NOT hell.  So how did humans come to believe Gehenna is hell?  Not by reading properly translated scripture, that's for sure!

Leave that evil doctrine alone, and don't ever go there again.  It's just too dangerous to trifle with.  Hell may not be real, but because of the horror of such a doctrine, it sure can get to you!  Eat only of the pure scriptural food of TRUTH, and flush the dung of hell doctrine - ONCE AND FOR ALL!

I once prayed, asking Father to "bless me beyond my imagination."  Bold?  Yes, but guess what - He did!  He showed me that hell is an evil, unscriptural doctrine.  That changed my whole life, and I can't express to you in words how much that has meant to me!  Wow, what a joy ride.  What a relief!

Had a long post done up but hit the wrong button and poof. Anyway thanks for posting this. I'm battling this out with some family members now. It's astonishing how ingrained these phony doctrines are in churchy folks. That different spirit and other jesus have been extremely effective, sitting right there in the temple of God. Even more mind-boggling when you begin to realize that these delusions were not initiated by the adversary or his messengers but by ... God Himself. No one is going to pull these notions out of people's minds and hearts unless God opens them to it. On the one hand the battle can be frustrating and vexing but, on the other, you have to just relax, be at peace, and know that the Spirit is in complete control of any exchange of this sort. No son of adam ever believed anything concerning the invisible God until God intentionally revealed it to him/her. If God had not opened up the hearts of the men on the road to Emmaus, they would have just had a sad religious conversation with the Lord and gone on down the road. But...

Luk 24:16  Yet their eyes were held so as not to recognize Him.
Luk 24:31  Now their eyes were opened up, and they recognize Him.

The same Spirit did both! It's not a hard thing for the Spirit to open a mind and heart. It does seem awfully hard from our side of the fence though. Drives me crazy sometime.

A super good post. Thanks for bringing up the subject of hell and smashing it. The fact there is no hell has been a huge relief to me for about 8 years now.
Fire in the scriptures and God's anger needs to be understood for what it is, a purifier. The other day I blundered across this in Zephaniah 3:8,9

"Therefore wait for Me," declares the LORD, "For the day when I rise up as a witness. Indeed, My decision is to gather nations, To assemble kingdoms, To pour out on them My indignation, All My burning anger; For all the earth will be devoured By the fire of My zeal.
"For then I will give to the peoples purified lips, That all of them may call on the name of the LORD, To serve Him shoulder to shoulder.

Oh my goodness! I am SO blessed reading that! (Oh) how I love to read the full gospel written in each person's own words! And some good words these were! You have a very good turn of phrase, as they say.. (though I think I got the saying wrong :dontknow: :laughing7: )

And yes! Isn't that just the way it is! - SMILES......JOY......AMAZEMENT... :mshock:...EXCITEMENT... :boogie:...THANKFULNESS... :happyclap: It's just wonderful!

I'm thinking many Christians are afraid of the Father.. so they only focus on Jesus - which is enough! And big joy too.. and peace.. but It's nice to know our heavenly Father more accurately.

Your post has answered a question of mine.. just the other morning I dreamed someone gave me a biscuit, but it was partially made out of dung.. yah, pretty gross. So I figured a dark angel had inspired it, but I was a little puzzled by it. But not anymore! :Chinscratch: I will take it as confirmation that we need never entertain the idea of anything less than 100% complete and total success of God's Great Plan of Salvation. He can only be perfect, after all.. So the 'end' result (of all this) cannot be anything less than the best one possible. Perfect makes no mistakes, can lose nothing.

Great post!! Loved it! (Be sure you save it in your files! )

Thank you! I needed to read that! To be reminded of it! Those strong delusions are so strong! But then again, not!! All in His good time, "each in their own order.." (1 Cor 15:22-28)

..."they would have just had a sad religious conversation with the Lord and gone on down the road.." - oh, dear.. break my heart! (What a good line!)

But you're right! Our Father does both.. (And) "No son of adam ever believed anything concerning the invisible God until God intentionally revealed it to him/her." (Amen.)

"Had a long post done up but hit the wrong button and poof." I hate that when that happens!

Hi,

Thank you for posting! I was just reading some negative stuff about Universalism being New Age pagan and I felt somewhat intimidated.

Yet this morning I was pondering the fruits in my own life since God convinced me of His glorious plan for all mankind.
These were first joy and peace. Now, after several years, my thinking has gradually been changed and renewed (and is still in the process of being renewed) which brings other fruits:
- hopelessness is disappearing
- to know God will never give up helps gives me a trust in Him I would never have had otherwise
- therefore, my faith is increasing
- I love people way more. And more. A love that never gives up. A love that hopes beyond what the eye can see.
- performance towards God has totally disappeared. By this, selfrighteousness is disappearing rapidly.
- Therefore, I am now becoming more and more like a child to the Father, instead of a servant that serves in fear.

These fruits of the Spirit are the gold, silver and precious stones the Bible speaks of.  :dsunny: :dsunny: :dsunny: :dsunny: :dsunny: :dsunny: :dsunny:

EDIT:  As for us being New Age, well IMHO, a Christian must be new age, for Jesus said it - He spoke of a coming age when the lion would lie down with the lamb, and all that - a New Heaven and a New Earth.

Further, how are we pagan?  We worship the Father, the Son, and believe in the Seven Spirits of God, just like other Christians.  People who write stuff like that depend on their readers NOT doing their own homework, and checking for themselves.

ahhhh, yes..thats the best evidence for UR...turns us from fearful hell fire breathing harsh people into humble loving people ..as Jesus says, 'by their fruits ye shall know them'.

That is so beautiful, and I would say it is exactly what I have felt since I became convinced of the salvation of all.
