Interesting, Jerry. Thank you for sharing.

I like this line:

My daily decisions we're increasingly governed by fear and guilt rather than by love or a sense of what was right. - See more at: http://www.redletterchristians.org/hell-and-the-love-of-god-pt-1-of-2/#sthash.5Zaj6X1z.dpuf

I think that is a very important point, regarding those who believe in a Hell, rather than those who believe in UR. And, though, of course, while it doesn't confirm which is true, it certainly says something about our human natures and that when we do things out of love, instead of fear, our way of life can be radically changed. Which can easily lead us to another point, which is, did God created us to do what we do out of fear or out of love? Of course, if we look at the entire Bible and our story of Salvation, one would tend to think, out of love.

1 John:
7Beloved, let us love one another, because love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. 8Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.

9This is how God's love was revealed among us: God sent His one and only Son into the world, so that we might live through Him. 10And love consists in this: not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.

11Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. 12No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God remains in us, and His love is perfected in us. 13By this we know that we remain in Him, and He in us: He has given us of His Spirit. 14And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent His Son to be the Savior of the world.[/i]

15If anyone confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God. 16And we have come to know and believe the love that God has for us. God is love; whoever abides in love abides in God, and God in him. 17In this way, love has been perfected among us, so that we may have confidence on the day of judgment; for in this world we are just like Him.

18There is no fear in love, but perfect love drives out fear, because fear involves punishment. The one who fears has not been perfected in love. 19We love because He first loved us.

A beautiful passage.....would you agree?

D.
7"Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. 8"For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened....

Matthew 7:7 -8

:Chinscratch: how interesting, Dandelion.. makes me wonder, what is God creating? Does He want a creation / His children all obedient to Him out of fear? :upset:

Or is He creating, and wants obedience because His created and children know How wise, all knowing and absolutely superior His will always is (concerning all things).. And out of love and reverence.

..most of all out of love and reverence.. Knowing and fully persuaded that He knows best concerning all things, which of course He has summed up as "love". A law which ultimately cannot be broken? The "iron rule" (ultimately) because He "is love". :cheerleader:
