Apologies Sheila for misunderstanding. I wasn't in my right mind yesterday. My mind is not on the clear everyday. I keep praying that the evil dreams and anxiety stops to be able to serve Jesus better.

And sorry if I might have come out a bit rude.

Now i do understand this much better. Thanks jabcat.

And since we are on the subject of fighting darkness... What is your opinion on deliverance from devils and exorcism?
Because the bible, as always, has something scary to say about it as well.

Luke 11:24-25 When the unclean spirit has gone out of a man, he roams through water-less places in search of rest; and finding none, he says, "I will return to my house which I left." And when he has come to it, he finds the place swept and clean. Then he goes and takes seven other spirits more evil than himself, and they enter in and dwell there; and the last state of that man becomes worse that the first

This is what the Jonathan Mitchell New Testament has to say about the same verses (the excessively literal translation of the New Testament which is more UR)

Luke 11:24-26  "Whenever the unclean or culturally unpruned breath-effect (spirit; attitude; life-force) can (or: should; may; would) go out from the midst, away from the person (human), it is progressively (or: constantly) passing through waterless places, continuing to seek (constantly trying to find) a place or situation to rest (cease-back; refresh; be still again) – and yet habitually not finding [one] – it at that point is saying, 'I shall proceed returning into my house from where I came (or: went) out.'
"And then, upon coming, it is presently finding [it] continuing at leisure, in idleness, unemployed and not occupied – having been swept and cleaned with a broom, as well as having been put in order and adorned (or: decorated).
"At that point it continues going on its way and then proceeds taking along seven different breath-effects (spirits; attitudes; life-forces) more worthless, bad and malicious than itself, and upon entering, it proceeds settling down in the house and continues dwelling there – and the last [conditions and situations] of the person (human) progressively comes to be (or: exist) worse than the first ones."

No problem Shadrak   :girlheart:

Yes,demonic attacks...with 8 demons ganging up on a man to try to take him, happens.Holy spirit/prayer,Jesus and His angels are

our real help.It really is a spiritual warfare, and we really do need to stay watchful/awake and be sure to stay close to Father.

And I don't have to tell you Jesus great love, compassion for His people so afflicted. Such things do not separate us from the love

of God.

The greater portion of fields/men are left alone[let the wheat and tares grow togather until harvest...and then remove the tares]

Jesus can give us authority to rule over them[taking every thought to submission of Christ]We don't want one of their

thought imputs to seed in our hearts..

Father does allow them to try us at times..if we consistently refuse the counsel of the Holy spirit, become rebellious and

insist/prefer on listening to the demonic thought imputs,we may be turned over to satan[since that is what we prefer]for awhile

or permanently.

demons think of the bodies ofpeople they possess as'my house'but God is there..and they are tresspassing against God himself and

his spirit in man.

We  all deal with these things.

:2c:p.s.  Satan doesn't want to let go[see Pharoah of Egypt resisting God's command to LET MY PEOPLE GO!]

This results in satan exhibiting  harsher authority over mankind[slave/sin works/bricks without straw]

Our Father is'plagueing Satan/princeof this world,at present .O'death,I shall be thy plague.[the resurrection of all men]

the final plague on satan is LOF.

Another mystery that need unraveling in a UR mindset is this:

Mark 4:11-12  The secret of the kingdom of God has been given to you. But to those outside, everything is in parables, so that although they look they may look but not see, and although they hear they may hear but not understand, so they may not repent and be forgiven.   :Chinscratch::dunno2:

Seeing as this for me is an extensive scripture study, This would be useful to interpret with a UR mindset as for the default interpretations you find anywhere else is with an ECT mindset.

And the best interpretation out there for this scripture was that basically Jesus simply gave up on explainig to people the secrets of the kingdom because their hearts where too hardened to believe and therefore were left for judgement (Hell)... This to me doesn't seem right because if This would be Jesus then I would have never been turned...
And Jesus never gives up so...

Anyway This is what the Jonathan Mitchell New Testament translates this verse:

Mark 4:11-12 So He began saying to them, "The secret (mystery; [J. Jeremias: singular, = its present irruption]) of God's kingdom (or: of the sovereign reign of God as King) has been given and so stands as a gift to (or: for; in) you folks; yet to (for; in) those outside, everything (all things; the whole) continues to come to be birthed in parables (= are in obscure, illustrative riddles),"to the end that,'continuously looking (observing), they may continually look (observe) and yet can (may; should; would) not see so as to perceive, and constantly (or: repeatedly) hearing, they may continually hear, and yet can (may; should; would) not make things flow together so as to comprehend or understand, nor can they at some point turn about (or: unless they turn upon [their path]) and the results (effects) of [their] sins and mistakes should be sent away (set aside; divorced; forgiven) for (or: in) them.'" [Isa. 6:9-10; note: this reading follows synagogue paraphrase, as witnessed in the Pecrapta and the Targum, while differing from the Hebrew and LXX – J. Jeremias]

This is one of those verses that portrays Jesus in a very black light as if he does not want people to repent but to be judged...

:2c:Many things were only to be revealed in the end.Our Father keeps secrets and reveals them in His timing.[ Warfare tactic]

Part of the parabolic gospel is what God was 'showing/showbread'in the deliverance of all Israel[all mens spiritsl]from Pharoah/prince of this

world..who held them captive in slavery to 'sin works"the true promised land is really heaven.

3 days journey in the wilderness to offer a sacrifice acceptable=worship in spirit form and truth]

insisting on their animals go,too, reveals His deliverance of all animal life/plus those of lesser understanding.

same with Noah and the ark.....

when Father sets His'Word"in order forus...it is a line here, a line there,here a little/there a little..especially as there are

two edges of His word.

same with the animals on the sheet in Peters vision;as well as the order of/positioning the 12tribes around the Tabernacle..some camped

closer..somes place were in the four corners[not drawn close in this life to God]Look to me and be saved all ye ends of the earth,

and PEACE to him both far and near. Prodigal son parable shows this also..for those who have been far away from God while in this world

and how they are warmly welcomed home with great joy of the Father...

:2c:also if you observe in the old testament the priesthood arrangement[those called by God to minister unto His holy things in this life..

curtains to conceal certain parts/certain eyes, clothes over certain Holy things etc.this relates to our understanding...of God's Holy things..

even of those called to minister.Koathites,gershonites/maronites show this.
