Thank you,Brother..Nice little article.  I have a grand-daughter[16] thaat says she does not beleive in God,

because of the dinosauers[saound evolution based]  and some of those DVD'S looked promising..and very

reasonable in cost.   This could get through to her!!

Better question, "Does a christian promote heresy?"

sheila

not when He corrects them..or declares truth to them.  He does this so they not become condemned with the 'wicked'=satan

and demons......part of how He keeps them through the hour of trial...and seperates them from sin[missing the mark]

Great question and great answer here:

It's my understanding that heresy is simply an idea that does not conform to church doctrine, and, if that is the case, then I'm a happy heretic because it is church doctrine that does not conform to the word of God.

Lazarus Short

As the apostle Paul said, and I probably paraphrase, let every man be fully satisfied in his own mind.  That gives us tolerance, freedom of religion, and freedom of conscience.  In the fullness of time, God will be All in all anyway.
Socrates taught Plato.  Plato taught Aristotle.  Aristotle tutored the son of Philip of Macedon.  This boy grew up to become Alexander the Great, largely by slaughtering a lot of people.  That's philosophy.

Jesus spoke the Truth.  He blessed the poor.  He healed the sick.  He even raised the dead.  He died on a cross for us, lived again, and came back long enough to tell us to love one another.  That's religion.

YHVH = Behold the Nail, Behold the Hand = Jesus

:iagree:
Shema O Israel, Yahweh our Elohim is Yahweh echad!!!

sheila

so true.......religious Pharisee spirits use the threat of 'BLAPSHEMY"!!  to condemn and instill fear to control/power  and put

out the LIGHT of God.   False shepherds.......religious rulers ....they desire to keep the people in ignorqnce..so they

may 'rule' over them.   There is a freedom of the Sons of God spoken of in the scriptures...that such offspring of vipers shall no

longer   rule.  They attempted to extinguish the 'LIGHT" at the cross...that they may rule over the people in self-rightoeus

hypocrisy

Blasphemy! Blasphemy!  He says he is the son  o f God!!!    will the saame thing happen when the sons of God are revealed?

if they have done it unto me.........
