Month of Rest

As most of you could probably tell, I've been a bit on the war path lately and I wanted to share some of the reasons, and some of the conclusions that have come out of it.

First, my intent was genuine...albeit more fiery than I'd expected it to express.  Test everything, hold on to the good.

And though my intent was genuine, and fire is remedial, the fuel was not entirely untainted by my as of late raw mood.  October has had some tough battles in it, not obvious battles, but "the little foxes" if you will.  All sorts of little un-obvious things that coalesce into a vague bad mood that you don't really understand the root of.  Amongst these being that November was on its way, and the Holiday Season, as well as a certain...girl's birthday...where less than desired.  In general my raw mood, in addition to my already "CHARGE! TO VICTORY!  :Shoot:" temperament lead to a few strange logs in the flame.

But I had a thought last night, and after praying with a friend, and a good tear draining felt much better, and so I want to offer everyone the same sort of celebration that I have (I believe) been given the idea to celebrate.

The month of Rest, peace, and calm delight, or rejoicing.  Where you have an excuse to celebrate, or to lay your worry wart to rest.

Thanksgiving interestingly enough, is during this month of November (for Americans), but why not feast through the month on Peace also?  Even nature is putting her hard working trees and plants to rest, letting the leaves fall, and the ground recuperate.

So...I offer you to join me in the Month of Rest; November, and hopefully I'll be able to celebrate it without worry, and struggle too.

"Peace I leave behind me, Peace is before me, my bread is Peace" -the given epithet, and declaration of the Month of Rest.

A day is like  a thousand years. A month has 30 days. Not sure I'm still around then Lefein :)
