Title: Adam didn't screw up anything
Post by: Beloved Servant on November 18, 2009, 11:55:25 PM
His behavior did not take God by surprise nor change the Lord's plans.
Adam's sin was part of the plan from the beginning.
So that the Lord Jesus, in the fullness of time, would marry the flesh into the spiritual realm of the new creation.

Adam was the first man to receive the word of God, and the son of God.

34Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?

35If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;

36Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?

--John 10

Only two created men in the Bible......... Adam and Jesus

Both men exist in spirit and within Christians...... the old you and the new you.

But only one man shall be taken

Blessings
