Suicide

This is a question NOT a contemplation. It is mainly just a thought discussion.

Suicide is murder, I believe we will all agree and understood.
My query is, say an elderly person 68-? is dying of something that is not going to be fixed, only prolonged, There is pain
and the pain will get greater.
He or she does not want to be a burden to any one, especially to his or her self, the mind is still working, it remembers, but he/she will not allow future thoughts.
He/she believes in a hereafter and in God, but has come to that wall where they want it over. He/she, in some way, takes their own life for the reasons given.
How will that person, do you think(opinion)be handled at the judgment?
There may have been past deeds, but the taking of their own life would be the greatest of those deeds.
I, my opinion, is that the taking ones own life is the only thing a person really does own,
and should if they feel/think for them it's over, they want out. I think the Lord will be saddened it happened, but may look at that murder as a fair decision. :2c:

My opinion only.....I hold fast to one not having free will.  If the suicide is successful, it is because God has allowed or even orchestrated it for His glorification.  Heard of too many botched suicide attempts that should by every shred of logic out there been successful.  Other attempts end in death.  For me....First rule....God is Sovereign.  Again, IMO, we are like a child in a playpen with limited choices, thoughts, and actions.  God will place certain items, temptations, thoughts, and choices to choose from into our limited space; however, He has complete control of our environment.

For me, it's always difficult to understand God's allowing or even creating an event or situation which to us appears evil or tragic.  What He set up for His Son appeared the ultimate tragedy, which in fact, was the ultimate gift of love.
