Experiences in Hell

I am wondering if anyone has ever read some of the supposed experiences that people have had in hell and what you make of them? The one I am thinking of in particular is the testimony of seven youth who were supposedly taken to hell by Jesus. Most of the stories don't disturb me, but this one does because there are seven youths all testifying that they went there and what they saw. If anyone has read it or is willing to read it I would like to hear what you think. (However if you have issues with anxiety I would strongly suggest you don't!)

They encountered and fought against numerous dragons, demon kings, false angels, false christs, demons seeking sympathy, vampires, demons promoting suicide, evil spirits disguised as beautiful women, etc.

Vivid imaginations at work.

They were shown the unimaginable paradise prepared for obedient Christians and the doom waiting for disobedient Christians, and those whose lives are full of sin.

Salvation by works. Bunk.

Later they complain about abortion. With their beliefs shouldn't they be glad a few unborn get to sneak in under the radar?  :dontknow:

Vivid imaginations indeed.  One wonders if they actually believe this stuff, otherwise how can 7 people continue to keep telling silly lies like these and keep there stories straight without anyone spilling the beans?

That was the first time I had seen that whole paper about the seven youths in hell (I may try to read the whole thing tomorrow).  Its all unscriptural foolishness of course.  Ray Smith talks about the "seven youths in hell" here:

Yeah, that is one of the contradictions I've often noted about the hellers - how they are so adamant about how evil abortion is, but perfectly willing to "excuse" God for burning people alive in hell.  That's really too much.

A friend of mine always uses this as an excuse for there being a real, live, hell!

I am not trying to make fun of lomarah's question at all, but I always tell my friend this:
People have visions and "real life experiences" of alien abductions too!!!  Does that make aliens real?   :rolllol:

Very interesting point.  I've read that many of those perceived experiences often, if not always, fall in line with the sort of things people already believe - perhaps a manifestation of what's already in their mind?

The thing that strikes me about all these hell experiences is that they seem to contradict their own false interpretation of hell. I thought hell was created for the demons but becuase Adam fell God had no choice but to send humans there too. In all the hell exeperiences I've heard/read the demons are not being punished at all but are given the pleasure of tormenting God's creation for eternity. Who devised the tortures like boiling couldrens of mud, God or the demons?

IMO that is such an excellent observation.
Apparently the demons are just having the time of their life. They couldn't have asked for anything better.

So I hadn't read the testimony in quite a while, I had just always had that nagging in the back of my mind about it because it bugged me that there were seven people testifying about it... Well I just went to the link that legoman posted and read the part of it that he quotes and oh my goodness, don't I feel stupid! The testimony is so utterly ridiculous that I can't believe it even bugged me at all.  :LH: :mlaugh:

I wouldn't wonder if also Hindus had similar supernatural experiences, just like there are NDE's with all kinds of religious backgrounds.

the very fact you have demons and the devil doing the torturing is baltent contradiction to truth.

dosent seem like much of a punishment for satan and his demons to be able to torment souls for all eternity, sounds more like reward for them.

thats all i gotta say about it, but i tell you these pushing this type thing have a rude awakining.
