Ezekiel James came here recently as Stephen Levi, all about keeping the commandments of Jesus.  You know, the "yes or no" guy.   He was eventually banned.

A couple weeks ago I started getting PMs from a new member named Ezekiel James about the commandments of Jesus, whether I was supposed to keep them or not.  Specifically, 1. sell all I have 2. forsake my family 3. not labor for food.  I discussed a little bit, while pointing out it was weird that a new member would just go after 1 person by PM rather than discuss on the boards.  I said I saw spiritual application (basically, putting Jesus/God first, loving Him first) rather than literal application to each and every believer (necessarily) today, after the cross in this age, etc.  Also, that if he believed he needed to keep those things literally that was between him and God, but also, asked how he ate, did he work for food (he'd already said he'd forsaken his family and given up all he owned).  Well, he didn't reply to the whole eating thing (and I was about done with the conversation anyway).  Then I realized something was familiar, and did some searching and finally found the whole Stephen Levi thing.  Although the IP addresses are different, I just don't think it likely that Stephen Levi and Ezekiel James are not the same person.  So I sent a little PM that said "hi Stephen".  I had thought I might ban him again, also to perhaps ask him if there was something I could do to help, believing him likely to have mental disturbance, but I just decided to let it stand.  That was perhaps 10 days or so ago and hadn't heard back until today when I received the PM that apparently others received.

Stephen Levi/Ezekiel James;  I believe you are in need of assistance.  There are agencies that provide treatment in your area for delusions, thought disorder, etc.  I would be happy to help you get connected with one of them if you would agree.  Can we help you in some other way?  If not and you continue in this current line, you will be banned of course and if you return under some other name in the same vein, you will continue to be banned.  On the other hand, if you get the needed help and can discuss in a rational, pleasant manner, everyone on the forum will be willing to be supportive and helpful to you.

This person (whatever his name is) is banned, with encouragement to seek appropriate help.  Although interesting in a perverse sort of way, he's just too abusive in my opinion to remain on the boards.

He'll likely be back under some other user name, but he's too transparent to not be recognized IMO.

In such a disturbing encounter, the take I get from all this (as ed indicated) is to humble myself, seek the Lord for help, and yes, surrender to Him to give Him honor and glory in small ways I can in my own life which I so often fail to do.   :2c:

I don't want to argue about people who think they are prophets, apostles, etc and start throwing warnings around. There was an element of fear in the message I received in my pm this morning. That is not the Lord's voice but the voice of another.

Jabcat, I think you did the right thing. I hope this fella gets the help he needs.

I have nothing but sorrow for this deluded individual. His torment must be so huge. But even so, there are times when only the Lord can break throu to such a one, and I truly believe he fits the admonition, "A factious(divisive) man, after the first and second admonition, reject". Ed, you did so well my friend in responding to him in love and humor and reason, and all the responses to him, imo, were excellent. I somehow missed this thread, until just now, altho I did get the infamous PM.

I  feel  really blessed to be associated with y'all. :o)

I also received this same self righteous boastful and miserable PM message
in my E-mail from this person.  Reminds me of a hypocritical self righteous SPIRIT of the Pharisee at work in this message that was sent,           
appearently to everyone on the membership list. I have not been that active of late on the forums here yet I received the same PM as everyone else did.  The Lord does not give us a spirit of fear, comparative competition, condemnation or confusion such as this PM message attempts to give.

Hopefully someone hear may be shown the way to help this person and we can pray.

OK, folks, I don't know about the rest of you, but Laz is tired of seeing this thread come up again and again and again, after the fellow has been banned.  Can we bring this thread to an end?  Please??

  'we are depending on the Lord our God'-isn't he the one whose high places and

altars Hezekiah removed?......furthermore..have I come to attack and destroy this

place without 'word' from the Lord?  The Lord himself told me to march against this

country to destroy it.


    the new ones coming out will be subjected/exposed to these kinds of threats in

various forms...we know the high places and alters removed are baal type babylon

worship.....that Elijah had to deal with to show who was the real God of Israel.....

   God answeres by fire...His spirit..truth.....His divine love and jealousy that the gates

   now..it's easy to discern this spirit on Isis..breathing hatred condemnation as it

  presumes to speak for God...and murders in the name of God.  but it presents itself

  in other forms.more subtil.that may cause fear,doubt,trembling to the new ones.

....this same spirit though appearing to have a 'form' of godliness..denies the power

  of Jesus Christ his sacrifice,triumph and Kingdom rule.

   Father uses both positive and negative to teach...and until all sin is removed

permantly we all have to deal with both the positive and negative .
