Why does "Hell" sell more than "Heaven?" I can understand to a point in religious circles, but in a supposedly godless [at the very least creedless] Hollywood, what's the attraction to "Hell?" Why aren't there really amazing epics made in a setting and in an environment comparable to the last couple of chapters of the book of Revelation? Or why doesn't something "Edenic" sell without an absolute blood bath being a part of the movie? Why is "Hell" glorified in Hollywood?
Adrenaline.
"adreniline"
I agree. It is the same reason why their is a genre called 'horror'. I admit, I like a good scary movie...not a cut em' up type, but 6th Sense type.
"Adrenaline" must be a part of the appeal in preaching it, besides the issues of honestly believing it and having compassion for others, and occasionally having a questionable spirit about it.
