Follow The Path    (Song, c 2008 James B.)

There's a way that seems to a man
to be the right way to go
But when he reaches the end he finds destruction
to keep from going there, there's something you should know

Follow the path that's laid before you
It's already been determined where it's going to
When you're in doubt and you don't know what you're gon'na do
Don't look back, just follow the path that's laid before you

There's a path that's already paved
SomeOne already walked it before you
If you'll close you'll see His footprints along the way
and His Word's a light to help guide us through

So follow the path that's laid before you
It's already been determined where it's going to
When you're in doubt and you don't know what you're gon'na do
Don't look back, just follow the path that's laid before you

(Bridge)It might lead you through the valley
or even up the mountainside
It might take you through the desert
but always out the other side

So follow the path that's laid before you
It's already been determined where it's going to
When you're in doubt and you don't know what you're gon'na do
Don't look back, just follow the path that's laid before you

Psalm 119:105  "Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path".

Amen, brother.  And if we make a "wrong" decision, He's there with us.  He doesn't leave us on our own!   :HeartThrob:

Cardinal

"I would rather train twenty men to pray, than a thousand to preach; A minister's highest mission ought to be to teach his people to pray." -H. MacGregor

Amen...heard a story today about a rite of passage into manhood of some tribe...that the requirement was for the young man to sit in the forest alone all night...he sat there, supposedly "scared to death" until daylight.  That's when he looked around and saw his father sitting on a stump just across the way...keeping watch through the night, without him realizing it...that's a glimpse of our Father.  God's blessing.

Psalm 119:105  "Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path".

Psalm 119 has become a great springboard for all my "writing" endeavors and verse 105  is the first Scripture verse in my latest writing endeavor: Searcher's Devotional   ... I'm currently using an enlarged snapshot of our backyard with its beautiful lamp, overlooking a path, Loon Lake, etc.... as the introductory page... the devotional is based on the Bereans who diligently  searched the Scriptures (Word of God)....(Acts 17:10-11)...  and, of course, I'd like to include this song in the Searcher's Devotional...is that okay???   I have three devotionals that hopefully will encourage my family, friends, and former fellowshippers to really get into the Scriptures...
